I did a ported LS2 intake and TB about 2 years ago and only picked up 8/11 rwhp/rwtq same dyno used for the before and after and the car was tuned for both setups so I felt that was a pretty accurate comparison.
I installed a Fast 102 and bolted it on out of the box and picked up 18/21 rwhp/rwtq at peak and had higher numbers under the curve over the ported LS2 unit.
I have consistently gained about 7-9 rwhp with sevral ported throttle bodies. Unfortunately I picked up nothing with the ported LS2 intake. I went back to the original dyno and I noticed a 12 rwhp gain above 4,500 rpm with the ported FAST 92.

If my C6 gains 30/30 I'll be at 450/450 through an A6 with a AFR 205's and a 224 cam! I just bought the Fast 102 and plan to install it unported. I'll clean up the intake a little but will not attempt to do port work.

Have you installed the FAST 102 and dyno tuned it yet?
Thread revival time, re-tuned the car and had an alignment done. When I was told how poorly aligned my car was and had the tech tell me you should actually be able to feel there is less rolling resistance to the car now. I decided to dyno the car again, and in front of a large audience at a dyno day. Here are the results.

What was the result after the FAST installation ?????
how difficult is to change one? something that I can do?
You could change it out your self, if you have some tools and good mechanical knowledge. The hard part is the retune that would be needing after the install. There are some threads on here that will show you how to do the work.
I have the tools, I will give it a shot.....
How has the best price on a Fast 102????
There are a few supplies on the forum that will sale you one, also check the for sale section. I bought mine from Corvettes of Houston http://forums.corvetteforum.com/memb...-cohparts.html Matt will give you a good deal.
Hay guys, I just picked up my new in the box Fast Intake today and needed to get it installed and dyno tuned. Luckily Geoff Cope at LMR "Late Model Racecraft" was able to help me out. They are located at 11755 West Little York Rd. STE 106, Houston, TX 77041 (713) 466-9900. http://latemodelracecraft.com/
The dyno pic below is a base line pull before the install of the Fast intake and my final pull with the Fast intake manifold installed.
The overall numbers are as follows:
RWHP increase by 28.29 hp.
RWTQ increase by 27.07 tq.
I do have a mild heads and cam setup. Also there is more info in my profile.
I would like to thank LMR and corvette forum member FloydSummerOf68, who helped me decide on this upgrade.
Hello I was wondering when you you got the intake installed is it a must to get it tuned. Also did you have to replace anything else to make the intake work properly or was it just a simple plug n play thanks.

That I remember the only thing that was needed was the a FAST and I believe it came with a gasket. I had LMR do the install since they were going to do the tune as well. A few of the members on here have done a nice write up on what is needed and a step by step with pictures on how to install. As for a dyno tune, I would recommend one, but I believe you could run with out one. Just remember that you are allowing more air to come in the engine so your fuel to air ratio tables may be off. With out a tune you may sacrifice some drivability and power. To get a better answer please PM your perferred tuner, I do not want to give out bad or wrong advice. As always if you do have the FAST installed, please do a before and after pull so that you know what HP/TQ you gained.

If you have your car tuned for the stock intake you really need to retune for the fast, otherwise your car will likely be dangerously lean on wot and will likely need less timing as well, based on my experience.
If you have a stock tune it is not so imperative as the stock tune is rich, but you will be leaving power on the table.
Always best to get a tune with a fast or headers for that matter.

Good to know info... I guess every time we have a few extra bucks to spend on aftermarket parts we basicly need another tune, So If changing to a CAI, long tubes, intake manifold, high flow cats or cam and the like...retune! I need to find a tuner who offers a pkg deal! lol

I think Chuck COW offers free retunes.
Or you could do what I did, buy HP Tuners and a wideband and learn to tune. It's a lot of fun.
