Even if you have cats you don't need to run the rear O2s

Ah I'm confused now. I'm just trying to assemble and order all the parts, so the installer has everything.

Just put obx on mine you will need extension for the front o2. The front factory o2 are very short. I soldered into the factory wire on mine and did some wire sheilding.

Pluged off back o2 with 18m oil pan bolt, no cats

You can see how short the front o2 wires are.

Drilled Holes to tie up 02 wires.

Here is my build: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...extreme-5.html

One thing i learned from installing exhaust systems on cars is, if you got a nice stainless system make sure you wipe it all down with brake clean when you are done. Every finger print dirt and oil you get on these will bake them selfs on and wont come off. I had more prints and nasty baked on marks then anything. Pretty ugly when you open the hood and see these nasty brown and black marks on your nice system.

Here is what I am being told:

Local speed shop states, they need 8 hours to install a full LG super pro long tube headers 1 3/4, w/ cats, and new cat back mufflers. They also state that a "Tune" has to take place in order to achieve the most amount of gain from the new install and also keep the system running properly without popping codes - total in service is $795.00 for install and $450.00 for Dyno and tuning -

I THINK THIS IS BS ...!!! I THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO RIP ME ...!!!

Anyone...???

Yeah no problem with the Tune $$$ - however when I read a guy who's a homeowner wrench state he does an install in three hours and I have a PRO shop with all the bells and whistles who have done God knows how many installs tell me they need 8 hours (not including the tune - that's separate) I think someone is being JOBBED'
