thats alot of weight per wheel (prob won't hurt you though).
Can't wait for Wednesday night report !!!!!!!!!!!
its 8.5 per wheel..total 17...I just need as much traction as I can get to try to really stand on it... So far I have not left as hard as the car is capable of... on my last 9.85 run I left at 3700 and it spun and still got a 1.33-60
I lowered the tires so low Friday to try to get a solid contact patch that I'm afraid it allows them to cup in the middle....resulting in a smaller patch anyway
I don't know the weather but it's cold in the Midwest...I'm thinking 0 DA...
Seat out, 17 psi, 0 da, 9.6x@140
Prove me wrong Norm....
I can assure you it won't be 0 DA. But it might be 900 or so if I'm lucky. I just bolted the new wheels with my 315s on them.. I'm much happier with the contact patch. I will live with the 17 pounds.
My prediction: pass seat out with stock drivers seat.....9.71
I'm not even sure if I want to take it out to run for this week or not. There will be a lot of peeps running tht will be at the LSX/NMCA and it will look more impressive with the full interior

Looks like Fartpipes old C6Z, hope you're not cursed like him lol
Seriously though I agree with Joe the passenger seat won't make that much of a difference, though I'd pull it just to help offset some of the weight added from wheels...any plans for a kirkey?

I can spot 3 areas in that pic that need removed in the interest of weight reduction and improved aerodynamics.
1. Get rid of the chicklets
2. Remove those silly doorhandles.
3. Don't ever use center caps on drag wheels.
I have documentation that those items dropped .0001 from my ET and actually increased my to and from the track MPG by .000067.
YMMV
I'm staying tuned to hear MIR results and everything up until then too.
Kick butt Norm.
Going out tomorrow night again. The only change to the car is I put the 11" wide wheels on at a cost of 17 pounds extra rotating weight. The DA should be 1000 -1500 then so I should see some much better air than it has seen yet. For my closest CF friends what will it run????? Only better air and a lil more tuning......
BTW the tires look much better on these wheels
Man, I wish you were right but that's a solid .2 off what I just ran last week and all I did for performance was add 17 pounds...lol I hope you are right.. I will say though that If it hooks when I leave at 3800 that I do believe we will see a 1.28-1.29-60'

With the better 60' and ~2k' better DA I think it's possible, don't disappoint me
Edit:9.69 because I was off on the DA difference, Godspeed!
