One of the hold-ups was waiting for the "Y" connecting the plenums. A production test piece was run through the manufacturing process to test the fit after the resins cooled and the piece took it's final shape/dimension. It fastens directly to the plenums unlike the "T" shown in the pictures and video that connected with silicon tube and stainless clamps. The "race version" will not have widespread applications and availability may reflect that. This is what I was told by the man actually designing and testing the products...Patrick the owner of Vararam.
We can assure you of substantial gains in Both Torque and power over what you have seen from the Other Polymer manifolds. We have put the LS-7 up against the Carbon XR , OZMO , Kinsler,Holley and Fast . The VRX has dominated every test to date by strong margins in both Torque and Power production.
The OZMO cross-ram style manifold made over 850hp N/A on a hydraulic roller LS motor in Australia - Look over on yellowbullet. The same manifold also made 527rwhp on a cam-only LS3 at Borelli Motorsports in California (maybe a record for cam/intake only?).
I gave waiting and got one of those instead. You guys have the patience of saints.
No patience here! This thread is too entertaining to hit the unsubscribe button It's a case study-in-process in how to completely F__k up a new product introduction.
Great news!!! The long awaited manifold is now available from several vendors at an introductory price of $749. I've already ordered mine, so if you're still interested, better get them before they're gone.

It's a shame because I just completed my build and I would have loved to have thrown this on there. It's going to have to produce some substantial and repeatable gains for me to go through the time and expense of spending any more on this car. I guess I'm stuck with my lame old ported FAST/90.
I still text the owner of Vararam about once per month on this but I must admit my interest has waned.
The owner also responds with a real update about some part of the manufacturing process so he is moving forward. Still, I was told it would be ready at the first of the year so...
I surely won't be one of the 1st with it. I'll now wait until they are commonly available, proven, and available from vendors before adding one to my car.
