I surely won't be one of the 1st with it. I'll now wait until they are commonly available, proven, and available from vendors before adding one to my car.
I spoke with Patrick today and they have over 800 units on hand going through final 2 changes. 1. Using new process for metal threaded inserts. 2. CNC machining for alignment.
LS1-2-6, LS3 and LS7 all available together before SEMA this year.
One version of cathedral port.
3 versions each of LS3 and LS7.
Standard version of each will fit under hood of C5 and C6.
Yes, we have components in house that are going through final phases of pre-production for assembly for some versions of our new manifolds . We are pushing to show them to the public just before SEMA . We will not be specific untill they are released , we have given our competition information each time we have tested or shown images in the past .We will not be doing that again untill they roll out to the public .
We also want to have product on the shelf to ship before we release pics, video, independent tests etc.. rather than tease our customers with something they cannot buy yet.

Thank you for that inside info Nemesis,
It is months I am postponing to upgrade my LS6 FAST Mamofied to another intake manifold bringing some plus on my engine.
This Vararam concept is by far the one that interested me since I saw the first presentation,
Let see what they put on the market.

Christian
You got it bro, looking forward to see what it will do for my little LS1.
I talked to Patrick enough over the past 18-24 months to know he has something special and was not going to compromise the design just to hurry to market. I've talked to a number of manufacturers/engineers/designers/owners that are passionate about their craft and he has been 100% committed to this project.
I originally saw this concept in person about 2 years ago at a Camaro show at Royal Purple Raceway in Houston.
Ill believe it when I see it at this point. On the other hand, the new edelbrock cross flow looks like it is going to be the dual TB solution I was wanting. Vararam had my interest peaked a year ago, and I probably would have bought one back then if it were available, but now Im leaning towards edelbrock.

Yes, tuning is pretty much the only drawback for the dual TB system. I assume itd have to be SD unless you ran dual MAFs too.. Im not a tuner, not exactly sure how, or even IF that would work out, but aside from that, i think itd be worth it. Especially if a couple snails were thrown in as part of the equation.
Could run one tube that splits into two, put MAF in area that's still one tube
Or come up with a way to combine MAF signals, would need an external device. I could make one we'll see what they come up with, doubt it's necessary. GM MAF's use frequency instead of voltage for a signal so it's not like you can just add them together like you might could with voltage.
TB wise I can only assume they're including something that will allow it to behave like 1 TB but I am totally guessing. Obviously tuning wise there will be some learning to figure out how to make it work.
I really doubt that a dual throttle intake plenum would fit under a Corvette Hood. Never mind that it's way too much air for a typical street car horsepower level.
