I wonder if the module on the pedal is wire sufficient, could another year module work? Requires a re-wire whiz to figure out?

it really does feel like 'more' power. That's why these pedal accelerators (using the transmission more aggressively) feel so great.

more power.

The plastic piece has three push pins, two up front and one rear, by the side a/c vent. Takes about 1 minute to pull if off.

Sounds great. I'll probably get one. But what I don't understand is why you can't modify the throttle position table itself and not have to buy a separate electronic unit. I know there's something that says not to do that because it will blow up the ecm. But why is that? Its just a table and not the operating system your modifying. You can modify all the other tables but not this one?

Since it can be done via the ECM, and Chuck does it that way, I suspect it must be in some type of 'table'. The BIG difference is, that in a table you'd have to have the know how, equipment, and to change the setting would be 'how easy'?

This gadget is just too easy. Now that my joints are limber, I can remove or install in under five minutes.

Did I say this thing is ADJUSTABLE.... ??? Way too easy.

There is a table that relates pedal position to throttle blade position. CoW says this isn't what he changes, though many people on the HP Tuners forum disagree.

Regardless.. you can't beat the adjustability of this unit. I really wish it worked on 05's!

has anyone actually looked at the throttle blade at wot before and after the unit is installed?
I ask, because I have read that at wot, the throttle blade is not open 100% with stock tuning. If this tuner will allow the throttle blades open more, then perhaps it can actually produce more horsepower as well.

all the positive post about this module is really giving me the bug to get one too.

Russ, interesting question about perhaps having less than 100% open. Any idea what OEM has as it's max?

You need a bigger bug... this thing is a blast. Get one already. We'll hear your "YAHOO" from S. Carolina to Calif.

"WOT" is about 88% on the throttle position sensor if memory serves

Doubt you'd get much more out of the tiny bit more open area (if any really) you'd get from opening the last little bit

I also don't think you can physically make the computer open the throttle blade any further. This is 100% WOT as far as the ECM is concerned. Just the TPS reports 88%

Anyone with a scanner or HPTuners can verify WOT TPS % with the unit installed

Got mine today and install/setup was a extremely easy. I thought I didn't do it right. Took it for a spin and really liking it. I knew I would like it from all the researched I've done. But only thing worries me is when I was researching, I saw the camaro forums was having CEL coming on and what not. It helped me feel a little better when the man himself commented on it and gave a 30 days money back and a 1 year warranty. That made me fully pull the trigger. So if he warrant it for the Camaro, I'm sure it goes for the Vettes.. Thanks for the awesome mod!

I think he said an engine warning light might come on, but that it should go away after a few starts. I haven't seen this on my car.

I paid for mine a week ago and contacted them yesterday about shipping and they responded saying it will go out next Tues with the rest of the batch. Sucks having to wait 2 weeks for this item with no warning. Oh well..

Ordered mine on Saturday, 8/22 with PayPal. It was at the Rutherford, NJ, post office on Wednesday. I just checked tracking and it's at my local central TX post office for delivery today.
