The steering column lock module behind the gauge cluster?
Most of the time they are plug and play if you get the right new one for your car year model. On say a used one, may need to be security married to the BCM instead.
As for the Remote control door lock receiver (above the radio in the dash), that one will need to be firmware flashed to marry with the BCM, then you still have to program the fobs and TPS back in next.
As for flashing/programing, anyone with a Tech II and TIS2000 program will have you covered (will need a TPS trigger tool to program then back into the RCDLR).
how do I get these?TIS2000 program and a TPS trigger tool
Will need a device for pass through between the car and the laptop. Tech II clone, VX GM Nano, or even Mongoose pro will work.
As for TIS2000, easy to find a cracked version to download for free.
As for setting up TIS2000, since it runs on windows XP, either need to have a machine set up in XP, or a multicore machine that you use to build a VM shell in XP, then load the Cracked TIS2000 on top of that.
As for TPMS trigger tool, they are pretty cheap as well.
Once the RCDLR is flashed, then Fobs programmed into it, you put the car in to TPMS relearn mod with a fob, the use the tool to trigger the tire sensors starting from the driver front tire, then clockwise around the car to trigger each tire sensor one at a time to learn them to the RCDLR.
man im sorry I started all this, now im dead in the water, car ran great b4 I messed with it,is there anything I can do to start this thing and just give it to the dealer..this damn lock out password thing

Let's rewind a little here... Why did the vehicle need an RCDLR? Seems like if it needs an RCDLR to begin with, you already started with serious problems.
I was trouble shooting a drivers door wont open ,and did not hear a click when I tried to open drivers door at the rcdlr,i did hear it doing the passenger door,
theres a 4 time try to start procedure it will start and relearn your password from your old rcdlr out of sight, now I can drive it to the dealer and get it fixed right,,,,supream Chevrolet says 2hrs labor and 200.00 for the part
im having the issue where i cant even open my doors or anything, car wont even power on unless i disconnect the batery for a min and re connect. would this be a rcdlr issue??
did that brand new battery, brand new terminals.it acts like it doesnt detect the fob at all any where near the car, even when i put it in the glove box.
I’m not sure what all you got going on then. I’m sure since you replaced the battery you also did the fob batteries. (Also new batteries can be bad out of the box).
Do you hear any clicking going on behind the ac vents at top of console when you put your foot on the brake pedal?
If not then it maybe your rcdlr. I would first check fuses under the hood and at passenger footwell. Check you cable connections at the starter, the grounds going to frame.
