Hey guys. Wanted to update. Got the old Pulley off. Now to start putting back to together. Quick question - the new crank shaft seal - do i need to prep it with anything? oil on the outside? or just push up there and seat? Seems like some guys use a small bit of Black RTV on the outside.
No need to use RTV around the seal for installastion

You can use clean engine oil on the outside circumference only of the seal as stated in your factory service manual or take a chance doing it other ways.Its a big job if you have to replace that $10. seal again.Good luck with it

Hello, Just a quick update.... It's a big job. Haha. The Rack\Water pump\pulley all back on the car. I'll be honest, fighting with the lines back into the pump. They are in, just getting them down and tight - there's ZIPPO for room down there. Breaked for today before i "blew a gasket". I think i might go get some crows feet, that might help.
