Like I said earlier, the TC it is fun with any setup. Hard not to like it. Try it, it is risk free with our money-back warranty. The only reason I mentioned the TB is b/c of the low end power you were asking about, sorry if I sounded pushy.

No problem, you’re in business and offered me a deal, no foul there but I’m not prepared to jump on a TB now, possibly in the future.

Put mine on the left side of the steering column. I only change it when stopped so not a big deal.

cdm, OK, thanks for that. I put mine exact same place, but cannot get it to stick to the textured black panel of my '07 with LT3 interior. My car looks to have a textured surface whereas your car appears to have a smoother surface finish in your pic.

So for now, got it hanging with Gorilla tape, looks like hell! Nothing I have here will stick to the textured surface: stock backing, foam tape, ShooGoo, etc.

Open to any ideas.

PS: the product and the modified throttle body work great, will never go back to stock! Is way easier to modulate the throttle and just more fun to drive.

Did you try wiping off oily residues from that surface? Maybe you have used something like leather conditioner or plastic restorer before over that surface and some of them leave an oily layer making it hard for anything to stick on it.

I had a lot of problems getting mine to stick. It is actually only stuck on the very right side. My dash has the textured surface also. I believe someone in the past used ArmorAll or a similar product on it.

Hi Mike,

No ArmorAll used so far as I know.

Next attempt will mask off & wipe with acetone/toluene.

PS: 250 mile freeway trip yesterday, 31/32 mpg, mostly 10 over limit, sp.5 mode.

Thanks to all!

Mounted mine here. You dont want to mount it high or with it angling up because I had the reflections right into my face. Clean dash, use a lighter or heat gun to heat the mounting tape till it’s soft. It will ahere very well.

I see the price on the website is $95 for the TC? Did it go up or is there a deal for CF members?

Received the throttle controller Friday and got around to installing it this morning. Took a little longer then 15m as I couldn’t easily disconnect the wire bundle connector in that laying on my back position so I removed two bolts and the whole pedal comes right off and it was a snap from there. From start to finish probably about a 1/2 hr. Programmed it and was soon on my way for a test drive. Started on SP5 and I was impressed from the first pedal touch right off idle and the car definite had a good deal more umph under the power band and and pulled strongly from there. Two thumbs up for the less then $100 investment. I recommend this.

thanks, 06 A6 car that has a Centri S/C so it lost a little of that bottom end Tq we all love so much. This units gets that back and a good bit more, really noticeable and enjoyable, immediate response. It goes quite a bit higher with the setting I have it on now but where it’s at is good for me, for now. Lol

No, it is completely untraceable for it works at a very basic level and it does not make any alterations to the ECM programming.
