The pedals sensor's output is very different in the 05's and so is what the 05's ECM expects to receive from the pedal/controller, in both magnitude and direction. It is a matter of "is" or "isn't", there's no "close" or "maybe". We've been there done that. We have not stopped, we simply have this as a backburner project. Glad you brought this up again, we'll take another hack at it.

So I called P.C. again & pushed the issue with the ecu differences between the 05 and the 06-13 & they admitted that it is hit or miss as to weather it will work at all with a 05. I don't know if I want to go to all the trouble of pulling the drivers seat ,Knee booster to try this as I just don't see how it could possibly work
I didn't have to pull the knee bolster nor the drivers seat to access the drivers pedal - if you have issues getting to the actual harness clip, I would suggest pulling the pedal itself by unbolting it and working on it like that instead -

Since you have the P/C you might as well give it a try and see what happens, if it doesn't work then maybe you can send it back and S/P will have their completed by then -

Thanks,Matt

Mike if all my throttle opening rates (HPTuners) are set at 100% is it even possible to quicken the opening rate past that?

I tried it Matt, threw a code right away, now that I need to return it no body is answering the phone. Probably just taking a long weekend

No, but even if you could it wouldn't matter. The throttle body doesn't need to be fully open until rpm>3000.

Mike, Looking to see if still looked at as a backburner project being 2024? A few of my buddies just added these to their C8’s so they got me thinking. Your website doesn’t show anything yet for the 05’ so I figured I’d find something here.
