We took them from 90mm to 95mm at WOT, in between they are shaped so your manifold pressurizes quicker for a better bottom end.

If you get a TB we can give you a really good deal on a TC.

I know this thread is old but what kind of performance gains have people seen with the throttle body on LS2 cars? Also, what kind of deal can you do on a TC if I purchased a throttle body?

Ok so I bit the bullet and picked up a ported throttle body and throttle controller from Mike. I’m just going to say, shipping took like 3 days! I put the throttle controller in yesterday and it took longer to take off the panel under the steering wheel than to install the TC. All I can say is “Holy ****”! What a fantastic mod!!! I got the throttle body and Mike gave me the TC at half price because I was a forum member. For $47.50, this has been the best mod yet, what a huge difference it makes in throttle response. Talk about seat of the pants feeling, dayum! GM should’ve made the car like this from the factory. Most people like the SP (sport) mode. I like LU2 mode the best. People say it doesn’t make your car “faster “ I call bs. With the factory lag, trying to get the auto to downshift always takes a second to kick in, now it’s instantaneous. Going to install the throttle body right now, I’ll keep y’all posted when I test drive it. Thanks a million Mike, you just made driving my car 1000x better!

I wired it up under the shifter plate and into the center console.

Ahah! Just what I need to complete the low-cost upgrades I'm doing this Spring. So I ordered the Throttle Controller ... and with other things in the works, I'll have to wait for the Throttle Body Rework.

So this Controller will be added to work soon to be completed including new Shocks, Z51 Sway Bars, Brake fluid Flush/refill, new Alignment and maybe Poly Bushings for the Control Arms. These combined will very likely transform it to feel like a REAL Corvette.

And just consider the savings: a base price for a new C8 is $62,000 or so, a 2LT Z51 C8 is about $78,000, and a MAXED OUT OPTIONS price is about $98,000. These all apparently have a $30,000 mark up (yikes!) So by WAKING UP my C6 instead of buying a C8, I will be saving about NINETY Grand at a minimum. Cool.

2007 3LT Base A6 already has a Vararam CAI, Hooker Axle Back, Diablo Tune and nicer wheels than what it had when I bought it.

Fast shipping option, received the Throttle Controller today. It was a bit more difficult to install than I thought it would be. After Calibrating the accelerator pedal, I made Presets in all of the Modes: EC-5, CF-5, SP-2 and LU-1.

I like the Sport Mode level 2.

I just installed one of the throttle controllers and took her out for a spin today. What a difference!! I haven't tried a ton of the settings yet, but sport mode, level 5 is awesome!

Great job on a fantastic product, Soler!!!!

Thank you - just the question that needed to be answered for California - in connection with the Communistic Air Research Board (aka- C.A.R.B) and the BAR Bureau of Automotive Retards

I will be placing an order for one from you now that I have to take my C6 back to stock -

Thanks,Matt

Since I am installing mine in the morning, I have a question on the instructions and want to confirm something first -

Question:

When you went to calibrate it the instructions say at step 7....press the engine start button once until yellow/amber light illuminates. If not push-start, turn key to the ACC (accessory power mode) position....

I am assuming that you held the bottom of the rocker to put the Vette into ACC (accessory mode) rather than pushing it to start just once, since pushing the start button once does not make the light go Amber/Yellow or enter accessory mode (ACC)? Am I correct, and then you proceeded to program it?

Thanks,Matt

Right on, and thank you -

I just finished installing it right now and you are correct, it is a huge difference. My Vette is even tuned and I have a Ported and Polished TB and it is waaaaaay crisper.

I seem to like the SP.5 right now. Will do some more testing a little later on, but a perfect purchase -

So for anyone installing it on a C6 Corvette -

When you go to calibrate it, in the instructions at step 7 it says to do this:....press the engine start button once until yellow/amber light illuminates. If not push-start, turn key to the ACC (accessory power mode) position....

For step 7 for the C6 Corvette you will:

Hold the bottom of the rocker to put the Vette into ACC (accessory mode) in order to calibrate the Soler Throttle Controller and follow the rest of the instructions from there on out - (rather than pushing it to start just once, since pushing the start button once does not anything or make the light go Amber/Yellow or enter accessory mode (ACC) )

Thanks,Matt

It's a bummer that it is not - the only thing that I could find for your '05 is the Pedal Commander (I won't post a link on Soler Performance thread) but it seems to be the only that I can find for you and the price tag is way more than the Soler Performance -

Hopefully they ill continue to develop one for the '05 because I'm sure everyone who is in your boat will ****** it up in a minute - even with a tune these things are insane!

If not then you might have to go the other route or find someone who is selling their used one -

Thanks,Matt

My buddy at work just retired and as a gift for his 2016 C7 Corvette Z51 A8 - I just purchased a Soler Performance Throttle Controller for him

We are supposed to take the Vettes out for a run on August 9th, so I will slap it on his Vette that day for him!

Thanks,Matt

Mine came in the mail today. I cannot get the connector separated. Does anyone have any tips or tricks on how to get it apart? I'm upside down trying to fumble with my fingers but I just cant get it.

What am I doing wrong?

Pull the two 15mm bolts for the pedal and then you will be home free. That will make it easier to work on and you can see it clearly.

Thanks,Matt

I absolutely love this thing. The throttle was so subdued before...now it acts how you think it would. Night and Day

Question. If the lightning cable were to accidently get disconnected while driving what would happen?

For now I have it routed in the carpet line to the center console. So you can see a small section of wire from the carpet leading under the lid of the center console. Eventually I'd like to route it through the center of the console where the extra lighter socket is so no wire is visible. Is that possible to do and how much of a job would it be?

Sure wish Mike would build 1 for the 05's. Pedal commander swore up and down that it would work for the 05's Mine came yesterday & before installing I googled it again specifically for the 05 and saw some very negative comments. So I called P.C. again & pushed the issue with the ecu differences between the 05 and the 06-13 & they admitted that it is hit or miss as to weather it will work at all with a 05. I don't know if I want to go to all the trouble of pulling the drivers seat ,Knee booster to try this as I just don't see how it could possibly work
