The more I read about how to deal with the heat issue from the tunnel area, the more frustrated I am getting. I cannot find anyone local who will/can install the tunnel plate shielding and thicker tunnel plate. Just about everyone is coming up with different scenarios, that include interior modifications. Many of them are focusing on DIY options and I appreciate the information.

However, I am not a DIY person; I am a woman with 3-inch nails who HATES getting her hands dirty. I have absolutely NO problem paying someone to do the work for me, I followed this path of replace and/or repair for the last 10+ years when my garage had more than 3 cars. If my ex-husband was a better mechanic, then he was at spending my money I might have not divorced him.

the problem I am facing is finding someone, the two local Vette shops in Pensacola area are a total waste of time. I was given a few other shops to try but to be honest I am holding back. A part of me is thinking my venture into Corvette World will be short lived (Sorry Dad) and I may go back to BMW ownership. This past weekend I took the 427 to a BMW dealership to see what type of trade-in deal I can get on a new 2020 M2 Competition, I was so very close to pulling the trigger, the Finance Manager was a DIC and I changed my mind based on his ignorance and stupidity.
