6l80e problem

Hi all I have an’08 C6 ls3 auto which has a gearbox issue, it has no forward gears but does have reverse if I pull the TCM fuse it will go forward in all gear position, I took the pan off and the valve block to see if the check ***** had got stuck in the gasket put all seems well. The oil seemed ok and not burnt scanner shows no faults any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks

Cheers, I’m thinking it maybe the 1-4 piston as the check valves where ok but I’ll have to strip the box to find that
