11.08 @ 127.6 on a 1.78 60'

Track wasn't quite sticky enough to bring it out hard enough for 10's, still spraying in 2nd gear. I had the bottle pressure up but I think the humidity really rolled in before I made that pass, track was packed I got 2 runs in.

I'm gettin there...

Easily a 10.7 et in there with that mph. You just need to launch it harder but understand not wanting or needing to prove that

Oh I will prove it lol, I just need a window switch so I don't have any problems if the tires spin and I hit the limiter.

I launched it as hard as the track would hold, if I had drag radials this car would be well into the 10's because I would spray out of the hole.

I think 10's on stock tires is doable, my window switch should be here in about a week and then we will find out.

Just reread this thread. Great info 10mm. I've talked to nitrous outlet about doing a direct port on my factory ported intake. They sent me pics of just 1 they have done and it looks SICK.

Any more info on yours? I hate wiring and to be honest my wiring skills are very limited. That's the only thing holding me back at the moment unfortunately.

Like how you have the bottle and feed line ran, very simple and easy

How much do they charge? I was thinking that MSD intake would be a good option when they finally release the C7 one, it probably flows a tad better than a ported stock intake and it already has the provisions for direct port.

It's supposed to be just over $1000 bucks though

Mine is still the same, the window switch was on backorder it's supposed to ship tomorrow (fingers crossed). Hopefully I can get that installed soon and try to spray earlier in the pass and get my 10 second run with 1 mod lol.

I'll see how long I can resist loading a tune and putting the 150 jets in it lol. I might not be able to run a good time until fall now, it's so hot down here all the time.

Got any pics of that direct port setup?

They sent me several pics. I'm sure they don't mind me posting this since it's not there money maker kit. As far as the price which comes with purge and 10 lb bottle and a few other things is between 1600 and 2000 thousand. I think it's a decent price....
Nx was basically the same but I like the nitrous outlet setup more.

I think the msd intake will make more power than the stocker even one that is ported but I don't think it will make a big difference in a bolt on car. Best thing about the msd intake is taking it apart and opening it up in key places, especially at the intake to head entry (you can make this a perfect transition) and I believe it has n2o bungs ready to drill??
I ported my intake and I would love to compare it to an out of the box msd when they come out, I don't think there would be hardly any difference. On what I'm trying to do I can go super fast on the stock intake, that's how I look at it anyways

Yeah it already has direct port nitrous bungs, that's the main reason I was looking at it, plus like you said you can take it apart and port it exactly how you want.

I'm sure you can go really really fast on the stock intake. Heck I still have stock air box/filter and stock tune and tires and I'm thiiiis close to 10's on a small shot, I ain't complaining

We can get you set up either way! This is an Ls7 version of the MSD intake that we completed a while back. Let us know if you have any questions!

Not currently. The ship date looks to be a ways out on the LT1 version. The only ones we have in stock are LS7.

Oh ok. If you remember please post if/when you get them in stock. I will also follow up in a month or two.

What did that LS7 direct port setup cost?

10MM, I am looking at this kit for my 15 Z51 M7. where did you locate your arm switch? Im trying to plan ideas to keep clean look with swiches for arm, heater, and opener.

I did not permanently mount them. I used a plug in harness connector for a trailer wiring harness and I just lay the arm switch on my console while using it. When I am done I remove the bottle and hide the line and then unplug the harnes and put it in the garage, I tuck the wire under the carpet so you can't see anything.

I also wired the harness for a purge too but I haven't installed a purge solenoid yet.

I have my bottle heater switch mounted right off the heater itself, I don't need to control it from the driver seat so it's not a problem for me.

Finally got my window switch!!!

It was on backorder forever. I'm thinking of heading to Darlington on Wednesday to try it out, I'm willing to bet even in this nasty heat I can touch 10's on the 100 shot.

ETA: Also for those wondering, this switch is awesome. Real time readout of RPM and it has LED colored lights to give you the status of the switches. It can do 2 stages of nitrous, and the WOT voltage is programmable rather than "learning" which means you can set it .2 volts before WOT and guarantee activation as soon as you floor it.

If my car spins in first gear I'm planning to just increase the "on" RPM a little that way I can just launch the car how I would on motor and the spray will come on automatically.
