I still have not put a tune on the car, I have run an entire bottle through it and haven't had any problems. The last time I went to the track I added a window switch which shuts the nitrous off just before redline, since the car shifts early I think it's still spraying through the shifts.

The A8 shifts so unbelievably fast I don't see how you could shut the nitrous off precisely enough to have it not spray during the shift. You could shut it off well before the shift but I haven't had any problems.

Bottle went empty at the track, so I don't have any updated times yet.

I wanted to post an update for those that care.

So after I added midlength headers and an AFE intake spraying on the stock tune became problematic. The transmission would shift much slower, or sometimes not at all. I think that is due to the torque management.

I ran 11.1@130 at SGMP in pretty decent air, best traction I have ever felt btw. But I think that the ECU is partially closing the TB to limit the torque. I ran 11.08 in the middle of summer with no intake or headers, so I'm guessing I'm just maxing out the torque values in the stock tune. A dyno tune is the only way around this.

I did however turn the nitrous off at 6000 rpm on the window switch, which gave enough time to bring the torque down and the transmission would actually shift. I sprayed in second gear again, and went 10.84 @ 130.55.

Dyno tune is Nov 4th, after that I will go up to 150 shot and try to really go deep in the 10's.

Crazy how fast these cars are getting. Makes me smile. Ha! Congrats on a nice pass, I'm sure you'll get way more when you tune it.

Thanks guys!

I am super stoked to get this tune, I'm thinking it will go below 10.50 @ 134 +
