Otherwise the temps are inline with my NA Z06 (minus the higher IAT's from the PD blower.)
170-180ect, 175-185eot, IAT's coming out of the blower are around 90-100deg. unless its 100+deg. and I'm beating on the car then I have seen it hit 150deg.

I actually live close to LG's HQ so I just had them install it, so it was easy.. lol!
Did you do any other cooling mods or just the oil cooler? Did you leave the secondary in place?

Yes, the secondary is in its default location but it's only tied into the engine circuit now, not engine + oil.
I did the full LG setup with the engine, oil and blower all on their own cooling circuits.

-Air to oil cooler. (oil circuit)
-LG radiator and GMPP secondary radiator w/race fan & 160deg. thermostat. (engine circuit.)
-LG dual two pass intercoolers in the cheeks with the G-Speed tank to separate the air bubbles and head feed the pump, also reversed the flow through the blower.

Since I have been running this setup the car has not come anywhere near overheating (or even run hot) no matter what Im doing.
If driving on the street on a cool/cold day it may take a while to get everything up to operating temp.
I just don't get on it until its warmed up.

Thanks. The only problem I'm having is high oil temps. I'm sure when I bypass the factory cooler that I won't have any water temp issues. I was worried that the small oil cooler wouldn't be enough to keep oil temps down on the track.

Finally dropping my car off today. The maggy is scheduled to be completed today and shipped tomorrow.

Also, since we are putting the 3" pulley on it we're adding the LT4 fuel pump and injectors, voltage booster for the low side pump, and a flex fuel sensor as well.

They did the base line pull with my car, it was 371 whp, and 389 wtq. They are installing the headers and x pipe while waiting for the maggy to come in.

Awesome man! What is your hp goal? My car is scheduled to get 2300 as well. Are you going catless with headers? What size throttle body?

My unltimate goal is around 800 whp, but this time just going for 580ish hopefully. I did go catless, but didn't get a throttle body yet. Thats going to come though. I did long tube headers, xpipe, the maggy, lt4 fuel pump and injectors, and low side fuel pump voltage booster.

The headers and x pipe are installed, and it sounds amazing! very happy with the sound of it. Still no tracking number for the Magnusson. Beginning to get frustrated with them. Its been 6 weeks since I ordered it.

Looking good. I like the custom tunnel plate vs. using spacers.

Both goals are easily achievable. For thr first goal of 580whp, you just need the 95mm pulley and a good tune. You will be around 6psi wirh headers I would guess. It's possible the lost boost from the exhaust would allow you to run the 90mm. For 8psi or so eith everything else being stock, but the LT1 fuel system will be tapped out right around that 580whp.

I can't actually remember now if it was the hpfp that went first or the low side? I upgraded to the LT4 fuel system with the JMS voltage booster pretty quickly.

i was looking today and will likley have the matching maggie on my Vette and my Camaro...but the Vette will be much more restrained. The Camaro is running just under 800whp.

are you installing an expansion tank or heat xchanger upgrade? Been debatable, but catch can necessary? These builds can get expensive quick! 😂

No need for an expansion tank or a heat xchanger upgrade for my type of driving. I drive around town when the weather is nice and I will hit the 1/4 mile every once in a while. I did put a metco valve cover breather and a catch can as early add-on's but they were really cheap.

If you are only building to 550-580whp, that's where the LT1 runs out of fuel and you really don't have to do anything other than the Maggie. In fact, they have a warranty but that is based on adding the Maggie only. I think that might even be running 5psi which takes the stock car to 530-540whp. There you go. . .at that level you buy a blower only.

The best part about the Maggie is that for the A8, you won't need a converter or anything because you are at max boost as soon as you smash the pedal.

Are these made to order or something? Why the long wait on superchargers?

Mine showed up yesterday I didn't order from Magnuson directly so that could have added a couple days. I ordered 12/26 and received it 1/15. Given the holidays and such I'm pretty happy with 2-3 weeks. Vendor never sent tracking so I'm glad i have a ring doorbell. Ran home as soon as i could to get it off my porch. Didnt want my first package theft to be something worth about $5k!
