There is nothing to look forward with C7, at least nothing to justify ditching C6. C7 starts to look more and more like another let down from GM.

I agree you should keep your C6 so it will be easier for me to get my C7 at launch.

Agreed. We need more people to jump on the "new" model to find out if it is safe to use. Seeing number of problems identified on 2005 and corrected later, I strongly encourage you to buy one-I'll let you have my spot in line

Why do you say that? Have you actually seen a 2014 C7 in person? If so, can you tell me which engine they are offering, is the tranny a DCT, what NAV system, is it a split back? Any other information based on your first hand knowledge would be helpful.
Thanks

This is a very ignorant post... You have not even seen the new C7... Make these comments after you observe the new vehicle...

I will keep my Z06 until they have a worthy replacement with the new body... Until then, fingers crossed that the new C7 will be awesome...

I think we need a thread moved, or simply deleted.

Exactly.

Some of these people really do have total crybaby "oh no the sky is falling!" "throw the baby out with the bathwater" type mentalities LOL.

It may turn out to be a decent car in the long run with a newer version of it down the road after some tweaking has been done, and a
Z06/ ZR1 version had been brought out. But I probably wont jump on the first year of it either. Why do I get the feeling alot of their inspiration came from the Ferrari 599 this time. . and if that the case I will certainly change my mind. and as far as the c8 I'm betting on Mid engine car.

Yeah, since we clearly know what the car looks like and all its specs, and have full road test reviews and reports on it, you should just go ahead and forget it and wait for the C8. I'll be happy to make the sacrfice and buy a C7 so that GM won't kill the product line while you people that obviously know everything there is to know about the C7 have appropriately concluded it is a POS and will wait for the C8.

I can appreciate that some people aren't impressed by their interpretation of the body of rumors and innuendo about the next Corvette.

And there is a certain amount of bored repetition in this forum.

But this thread? Way past concerned skeptic, well into drama queen territory.

And a c10 section. I want to read all about those flux-capacitors driven 8WD cars getting to 250mph and 250mpg. I'll take mine with 36" tweels thank you very much.

I would prefer the Ferrari but I will settle for what the pocket can afford. Maybe for my 40th birthday I will be able to go the Ferrari route, but thirty isn't happening. Biggest Takeaway from seeing the Ferrari's in person are the brakes. Seriously the brakes on those cars are no Joke.

Yup, this is what I am talking about. Pretty clear already nothing exciting will be happening in C7 except for 5.5 l 450 hp base motor and body tweeks and environmental responsibility claims.
