He said, " if it says Shelby on it I don't consider it a Ford."

I appreciate you clarifying it. They innocently enough mis construed your comments and wrote an entire article about them saying you meant that it would be included in the ZL1 on GM Authority even quoting you.

Considering the timing of the eventual 6th Generation Camaro it made very little sense that they would swap out an LSA engine on a generational model that will have a 4 year life span.

Seems kind of strange that you dislike both positive and negative comments in various threads. What would be expected..?

Anyways if you have any insight on the first year automatic transmission. Take a guess.... 8 speed or 6 speed automatic?

Any performance difference expected between the two Automatic choices or will it just be fuel efficiency?

I'd like to say thanks for sharing your insights however it came to be

I still lament the fact there is no dual clutch automatic....LOL

No insight on your question sorry.

Once you hear "I hate the tailights for 1,000 th time it gets boring."

I expect pros and cons, but after endless throw away comments with no substance it gets boring.

One of his builds, 1970 Hemi Challenger, what I always considered the ultimate pony car, and I am a Camaro guy.

Because there are legitimate info and cool renderings appearing every day.

They aren't boring.

Hearing repetitive IDENTICAL comments is boring.

Want to count up how many people posted, " hey it looks like a camaro"?

I love talking vettes and sharing anything I fortuitously came across. That isn't boring.

Boring is saying something 1,000 times...hence this post.

Do you understand the distinction?

You already know the answer. Search for all my posts. The answer is there.

When I retired from the NHL I became a 2nd grade teacher. We lead the student's to the answer, we don't give them the answer...ha!
That is a great job!
I have a first grader and a third grader. Kids are cooler than Corvettes. Sometimes.

The reality is the car is as you have seen it.

No one in the big wide real world outside of our cloistered Internet world really cares about my opinion or your opinions although by definition that is the purpose of these forums.

Lets accept that many of you hate it and will never buy. Why torture yourself having to look at something so disgusting and have to constantly be reminded by it by coming back here? Don't get me wrong that is clearly your right. But, I don't spend any time on the Viper boards convincing them their car sucks. I have better things to do.

As well, myself included, don't really need to say for the millionth time how great it is. It gets as boring as the preschoolers saying " no you didn't..." " yes you did" back and forth for an hour.

Can we rise above that and discuss practical and technical things?

I am not going to change anyone's mind to rush out and buy it.

And the people who honestly hate it won't convince anyone not to buy it.

So we end up in a vicious cycle, fool's game of waste.

GM will not fail even with moderate corvette sales.

GM could give a rat's butt what we talk about on here. There is no fantasy end around coming with a last minute change to what any of us want..... Maybe a trip to the Disney/ Chevy design studio can ease the pain of you designing exactly what you want.

The world will not end if 60% of current C6 drivers don't buy it.

There will be more than enough people who say yes and will buy it.

By the way, Nikki Minaj's butt is disgusting.

No it isn't

Yes it is

No it isn't

Yes it is
No it isn't

Yes it is

No it isn't

No it isn't

No it isn't

If you believe these posts are pointless unless they are backed by some information, then why you're long post above then??

You say you not associated with GM, nor benefit by promoting the car repetitively. But then you state you know how GM thinks about these things? hmmm.

Personally, IMO the UGLIEST thing about the Camaro is the tail lights, and I've heard that from others too. They look cheap. So the new C7 follows the Camaro tail lights.

A recent Corvette magazine says a lot of the ground-breaking technology from the LS7 is in the new LT1. That may not be good news either.

So you like the car. OK.

But no more hyperbole that you somehow know more than others, and that we all will mindlessly see things your way when we become enlightened. Sure.

Next please.

Too many people assume that along with freedom of speech comes an obligation.

The lockout is frustrating for sure but with many on here you can't get into an intellectual battle with cognitive misers.

I am used to frustration.......

I think people actually truly believe if they gate off enough about the rear end looking like a camaro it will change anything.

After the first 800 comments "hey it looks like a camaro" we get the point.

I actually enjoy the negativity......it is humorous on many levels.

The reality is, if you used your own reasoning and you can't stand the current boring climate, then you wouldn't torture yourself by coming here.

The rest of us are having fun going back and forth.

Ego is such a big deal to vette drivers, it is embarassing.

Your logic is flawed.

Perhaps if I type slowly you can understand.

I can stand the boring climate. Get great joy studying lemmings.

I am having fun as well pointing out distinction.

For instance, I enjoy all the back and forth and intelligent commentary.

When I have Honey Boo Boo's second cousin repeating something others have said a million times it turns into a drinking game.

Every time someone posts anything related to a camaro from here on in I am going to take a shot of crown royal...

So troll, you too can go stfu
