Played first game in the NHL dec.5th, 90 vs. New Jersey Devils.

I played for Vancouver Canucks. I was checked from behind by Tony Twist and had to retired from the career ending head injury.

I have been retired since the age of 23. So I golf, collect cars and stir up crap on corvette bulletin boards.

I was also goalie coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs.04-09

Hockey card is likely worth $.05

The reality is the car is as you have seen it.

No one in the big wide real world outside of our cloistered Internet world really cares about my opinion or your opinions although by definition that is the purpose of these forums.

Lets accept that many of you hate it and will never buy. Why torture yourself having to look at something so disgusting and have to constantly be reminded by it by coming back here? Don't get me wrong that is clearly your right. But, I don't spend any time on the Viper boards convincing them their car sucks. I have better things to do.

As well, myself included, don't really need to say for the millionth time how great it is. It gets as boring as the preschoolers saying " no you didn't..." " yes you did" back and forth for an hour.

Can we rise above that and discuss practical and technical things?

I am not going to change anyone's mind to rush out and buy it.

And the people who honestly hate it won't convince anyone not to buy it.

So we end up in a vicious cycle, fool's game of waste.

GM will not fail even with moderate corvette sales.

GM could give a rat's butt what we talk about on here. There is no fantasy end around coming with a last minute change to what any of us want..... Maybe a trip to the Disney/ Chevy design studio can ease the pain of you designing exactly what you want.

The world will not end if 60% of current C6 drivers don't buy it.

There will be more than enough people who say yes and will buy it.

By the way, Nikki Minaj's butt is disgusting.

No it isn't

Yes it is

No it isn't

Yes it is
No it isn't

Yes it is

No it isn't

No it isn't

Just adding my thanks for the information you've provided. As I suspect you already think, many of the repetitive complainers are folks who wouldn't (for various reasons) buy a C7 even if it represented their absolute dream car. They simply have nothing else to say but feel compelled to say "something" - so - - - -
It is disappointing that they continue their various diatribes at this late date with only a month until the car will be unveiled. Apparently, they have no understanding of the time lines involved with new car development - they don't understand (or don't care) that their complaints, threats of non-purchase, or begging for specific features are pointless at this late date.
The past year, since the detailed Jalopnik release, has been fun - you've added greatly to my enjoyment of these events and I will not be on this site pointing out any differences between what you have told us and the actual car. Thanks, again, for sharing what you've learned.

For instance, I enjoy all the back and forth and intelligent commentary.

When I have Honey Boo Boo's second cousin repeating something others have said a million times it turns into a drinking game.

Every time someone posts anything related to a camaro from here on in I am going to take a shot of crown royal...

Cool! My uncle was a professional hockey player. Played on a couple of Stanley Cup winning teams. Died five years before you played your first NHL game. A great sport, hockey.

Only somebody that likes to hear themselves starts a thread called 'Reality.' I suspect you just exposed your own biggest fear with the marginalized comment. What are you cooking up next? 'Plastics?'

And by the way, before you defend the C7 anymore, you might be well served to go get an education on the biggest PR disaster GM has faced with the Corvette in many years unfolding now over on the Z06 forum. Only an a-hole would call fellow Corvette owners with serious car problems 'trolls.' Or just continue clicking your heels and saying how wonderful life will be with a C7 from GM...

To all those who are chastising keels. I would ask that you reconsider. This gentleman did us a favor in bringing c7 information.

Whether you like the vehicle or not. The fact that we've got as much information at all is something to be grateful for. With that gratitude I would suggest we thank those who brought us information even if some don't like what's been suggested.

I hope I have not offended anyone with my suggestion.

Over the years I've just found that as great as the Internet is in bringing us such great up to date information....." often times nuances such as tone or graciousness can be misconstrued.

I for one am grateful for all the information and for the people who shared such insights

Please go finish your plate at the kiddy table we are opening presents soon. jan. 13

How mentally do reconcile the connection between the naming of an ill advised thread poster a troll and anything to do with Zo6.

Genuflecting on this thread about some problem you may have unrelated to the C7 does seem productive.

So you are bitter with an unrelated car problem to anything here. Why bring that inherently negative agenda here?

You are a troll not because you Drive a faulty Z06, but rather because your logic clutch is slipping on the C7 forum.

Check the owner's manual. We're talking about GM Corvettes here, past and present - my latest happens to be a 2013, and we're still in 2012. And you're logic says, give it a pass and bless the 2014 C7 as wonderful from a likely all-new GM. Use that crazy spew with your own money if you like, but GM has a big boy problem, and let them make good on it by themselves, without wannabe helpers like you trying to save the crown...

Wow. I have nothing to say. I'm sorry you have had a poor experience with General Motors.

Why don't you share more details of what exactly is the issue?

We can have a little corvette therapy session without any ad hominen attacks.

Keeks, here is an even easier way to search for all posts by you or anyone on CF.

In any thread:
1) Click on the posters name above their avatar.
2) Click on "Find more posts by keeks2915"
3) Click on what is underlined in the shaded area in any post.

Your every post will be listed with a snippet of the subject and your actual post. Select a post then it goes directly to it.

Actually, I only read the forums of cars I have.

Do you have problem with your car or is this about other people's issues?

You seem very invested in the issue. Help me understand the issue you have with your car.

Mr. Keeks.

Very important question from one Canuck to another.

I've never been to a Leaf game.

You have any pull for another extremely frustrated lockout fan.
Would love to see a game when the **** is settled.
I can do some picture framing for you as trade.

No worries... No attacks here.

As far as I can tell It turns out people are very upset about a few things:

Here is my top ten list from the home office in Oxford, Ohio.

1) I am apparently a know it all.

2) I am high on myself

3) that no one in power can do anything about their camaro tailight hatred

4) that apparently Z06 owners have engine issues that I must stay on top of in a C7 forum.

5) I am seeking glory on a faceless Internet forum (where can I cash in CF Karma?)

6) no matter how many times it is suggested, there are not going to be back seats.

7) that if I don't answer someone's question immediately they can make light of me being a pro athlete.... Really hurts.....

8) pointing out the obvious is frowned upon.

9) firmly standing by their convictions of what the car will be or won't be without actually looking through the threads

10) the creeping realization that we have seen the car all along, it kills in real life and sells a bazillion warranty issue free cars.
