I don't think the totalitarian C7 fanatic crowd can read, or maybe just can't understand, your post.
Guys, I kinda like the C7. I might own one. Not a 2014 as they are likely to have some bugs, but down the road I might purchase one.
However, the total lack of reason, logic, or maturity among the most passionate C7 cheerleaders make me not want to be associated with them.
One, their posts are often illogical. Two, if someone critizes the C7, they are attacked. No dissent or free debate is tolerated by a number of them. I thought most of us are on here because we like Corvettes? Yet, the most rabid C7 supporters are trying to start a civil war among our ranks. They refer to anyone as haters that dare point out something critical about the C7, yet they heap hate on those members. Who is the real hater?
Their attitude is starting to erode my positive feelings for the car itself. I am trying hard to separate how I feel about the car, and how I perceive the most ardent of the C7 fan club.

If they hate the C7 then go to the section of whatever version they like and post there. I don't go to the C6 section and tell how the C7 looks better than the C6.

I love the looks (I tell myself that the vents an aero effects are function over form) to include the tail section. I believe that the Bette had gotten a bad rap as an old mans car. The problem with old men is that there aren't that many of them. Instead of looking back, Chevy decided to look forward and I think it payed off. This car is stunning, and it will attract young buyers as well as old. I got my first Vette at 23, it looks like I'll get my 2nd at 32. This is a "GOTTA HAVE" car for me!
