Keeks CAD speculation

That was what prompted me to create this thread, first thing I noticed apart from the wheels and fenders was what appeared to be two piece rotors. If this is the ZR1 than they are almost positively CCBs. Hard to tell from this, but they definitely aren't Stingray/Z51 rotors.
So either the rear is wider at back where the vents are (and even though vents are different, they don't look clearly wider) or the rear arches are probably not flared.
I'd guess that performance models could easily go up from 285s to 305s, or maybe 315s, on 20x11 wheels in the rear with the same fenders and would look fine.
he also got some info out of a Michelin guy.
"WAY better leather than any previous corvette...fact. Not that I care, but its quality. Big stitching...real creative steering wheel stitch...looks nice....nicer than some current caddys
2. Pictures dont do the car justice...its beautiful in person
3. Michelin engineers gave me great insight into the new michelin super sports. They say tire size was a mixture of what gm wanted, and the performance they can now provide in a narrower tire.
4. I said, people were just shocked by the skinnier footprint, his respone..."oh, well the z06 and zr1 tires are definitely wider.". Good answer!!!
Overall, I hate autoshow atmosphere. I want to talk to engineers, hear the facts...not deal with little female models.
C7 looks amazing though...100% Corvette. Cant wait for my z06!"
I hope that info holds up, a Z and a ZR? C7 FTW!!!

But rules are rules. And this one will definitely get locked. Before it does tho.. its some good information in here about what to expect on the next Z car.
Last September when Keeks first posted all his CAD illustrations of the Z car and the LT1 and LT4 engines, some guys here were doubting it was really the C7 Z.
Then in January after the reveal some of the CAD's were posted again and more guys here started noticing the differences between the Base Stingray at the Reveal and the CADS of the Z car.
Now it's June and most of us are completely familiar with every detail of the base Stingray; all the differences of the Z CAD's are really obvious now.
