I definitely see a widebody version in the future, as well as aero add-ons for the hipo versions, maybe some changes to the side vent for those versions as well, and of course the stingray badge.
Other than that I don't think the car will change until the next gen.

I think he was being sarcastic. He reiterated by saying the C7 wouldn't see any changes. And I agree.
I was trying to make the point that there was a huge uproar over certain aspects of the C5 and the C6, and that they never changed. Hence my next comment that those waiting for a change to the rear of the C7 will need to wait for the release of the C8, because that is the only time a change will be coming.
With that in mind, if you go back and read it again, it should make sense. Sorry for the confusion. I guess it sounded more clever in my head than it came out on paper.
Jeeez....paper. It's not like I'm that old, either.

Lol, I think it was a perfectly obvious post and was witty. Too many people are in defense mode and skim the post for things that stand out and dont take the time to actually read into the posts. Although that can be a double edged sword because some people read too much into things and can be equally knee jerk...internet sarcasm is an art of walking a fine line :-)

Plus it helps if one is fully awake ............. I wasn't.
Hey guys, the C5 was a radical departure from the C4. Go read the C5 forum for a list of little problems. I got pretty good at pulling my intake manifold to replace various sensors. And I had to get it towed when the security system locked up. Then came the C6. Before I bought one, I asked on the C6 forum about problems to watch for and of all the replies (thanks guys), the only problem was the need to change differential fluid on early models.
So no matter how hard GM tries, and I know they do, there will be some problems. Wait a year. And get the longest warranty package.
Along with the higher horse power models ......... Which, I am hoping this time around have the automatic. If they do, my s/o's objections to the new design are a moot subject.
