Enjoy and as previously posted-post some pics.
the new Cayman S will be a killer on a twisty track with short straights--very well sorted car

now drop the 9A1 engine in there and you'd have a world beater

Same here! I was set on the 991 Carrera S. Then I saw the C7

Porsches are awesome. I will own one someday. I just like the new C7 so much that I have to have one first.

The respondents in this thread have restored some of my faith in the Corvette faithful. I was expecting folks to give the OP grief but everyone was respectful. What a difference compared to other threads here in C7.

To the OP, 110% agree with your comments. I have a new Boxster S which I love and I too hope the C7 turns out great. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have owned a couple P cars in my journey - they are excellent. Of all the high end performance cars, imho, they are the best daily drivers. I enjoyed my P ownership experiences and am confident you will also. If Corvettes are in your blood, as they are mine, there's 1 or more in your future

Wanted to buy one for years, but alas, no place for two sets of golf clubs and two weekend duffles.

Enjoy

The 991 GT3 just looks like a beast all around. I think if I didn't get the Viper, it would have been a GT3.

Can't wait to see what Chevy has up its sleeve to compete...

I am glad Dodge and Chevy have finally gotten it together with the interiors. It was the only thing lacking.

I was looking at new Carreras yesterday. They are beautiful cars. Please post pictures. I am still going with the C7 but may have a Carrera soon too.

Is that supposed to somehow make him feel bad about his decision?

What if he never takes his 911 to the track?

Or what if he takes his 911 to the track and the only C7 there is being driven by a 65 year old guy who has never been to the track?

OP,

Congrats on the new P car. It's great you are able to keep your C6 as well. Will make for a pretty fun stable.

Enjoy them both - and be safe.

p.s. nothing wrong with dropping by here and paying a visit, either.
