yep, I am waiting for the 2015 also. I was 'this close' to pulling a trigger on a 2014 but that first year model thing spooked me a little bit too much. I am hoping they paint the rear bumper cover one color in 2015 and maybe have a comp grey wheel option.
Really excited.
Those are 2 things I would like to see as well. If enough people ask for it I have a feeling we will see it.
Not normally but they may add colors and one blue almost always changes hues. Unless the green is a terrible seller and I can't see that happening, im sure it will at least make the second year after all they have an awful lot of brown tone interiors that I think were put on the list just for that green and dark blue.
I'm going to get a Vert and want to do the buyers tour if still available. If I order a 2014, I will be at the factory in the winter because of the first year delay in Vert production. If I wait for a spring delivery, then I'm just a few months away for ordering a 2015 which I can take delivery of in the early fall. So, planning on waiting for an early 2015 model. SJ

You will have a 2015 early order car in Aug of 2014. Don't forget the 2015s will be on a normal build time line. 2015 cars will be rolling off the line in B/G in Late June.
Do the colors change much each year? I'd like to wait for a '15, but don't want to miss out
on a green Vette.
I was looking at the production numbers for the last factory green Vette, which would be the Dark Bowling Green Metallic C5's from 2000-2001. Percentage of DBGM was 4-5%, which is really low.
I suppose they could carry over a C7 green for a second model year, but if they dropped it after one year I wouldn't be surprised.
Green is one of those colors that everyone wants to be offered, but when it comes time to buy, no one does.
I thought about waiting of a 15, but like others have said maybe the 15 does not have any improvements and you have to wait for a 16 to get something better. In the end I ordered a 14, and due to a little luck and Rick Conti getting more cars then he tought, I should have my car in September. I will get to enjoy it for an entire year before I could have gotten a 2015. And if things go well I may trade my 14 in for a HIPO model in 2016 anyway.
That was my plan. What is the hit we would take on a trade for a possible z06 in 2016 for our 65k loaded c7 base?
