lets get back to Corvettes
Whoa... Wow... I thought scientists had to use the scientific method to be recognized and published. I could be wrong, but then again, I'm not a scientist and I only have to go off of what smart people have spent ages researching, gathering evidence (remember that word: evidence) and getting identical conclusions as others doing the same.

Do you think gravity doesn't exist just because we have a predetermined idea of it? Do you still think the world is flat because you haven't seen it round for yourself? (Or are you an astronaut?)

I think you should prove those scientists and all their evidence wrong. You OBVIOUSLY know more than them. I'm one of those stupid cultish followers that would rather take their word and read their research about Climate Change than spend 15 years of my life gathering evidence and researching this myself to come to my own conclusions.

It's backwards thinking like yours that slows us down. Someone else (masses of others) do all the research for us, but we're "looking" for the "right" answer when we decide to accept what others have found. That's just dumb. You going to build your own electronics because you don't believe what is already working actually works unless you do it yourself? Dumb. You going to go to a restaurant and cook the food yourself because you don't think the food is cooked unless you cook it yourself? Dumb.

Scientists did the research for us. A LOT of scientists did the research for us. How many times does it need to be done before we can say it's been done enough? Should everyone on the planet come to their own conclusion?

Corvettes are awesome. You should build your own so it gets done.

You bring up some good points. Probably the best place to debate about climate change & other controversial topics, is over on the PR&C ( politics, religion, & controversy) section of corvette forum. You will find tons of posters over there with hard right wing views ( roughly 90 percent) that also believe that climate change is a huge left wing conspiracy to distort the truth. According to those political scientists, everything is just fine.

Thanks. I think I'm done. I'm not going in the PR&C section. That's like jumping into a shark tank.

In the meantime, lets talk about Corvettes again!

One thing is for certain, if GM officially supports E85 in the C7 in the 2015 model, I'm going to be really mad unless they offer a factory backed tune to allow the 2014's the option as well.

Guessing here, but I'm not expecting much in the way of changes for '15. When they blow the R&D budget on a major platform change like the '14, most manufacturers enter the second year with just a few new colors or minor option additions.

Jumping into PR&C is no shark tank.
Just an ultra conservative dominated forum filled with sometimes utterly ignorant, sometimes prejudicial, pro gun, pro life, and Christian opinions as well as consensus over perceptions about the world we live in. Where the game is to beat up on and discredit liberal thinking and philosophy. It can be high entertaining, and exceptionally educational.

You just need a thick skin, and be confident in your intellect and perceptions.
You are now cordially invited to post in PR&C. Let me be the first to welcome you.

Regards,

Matthewelle

HAHA... Thanks. But that section sounds like half of my car buddies already. Just mentioning any single view I have for anything that could be even remotely tied to liberal views instantly turns into a political debate where it's me vs. 5-6 guys at a table that don't care about sciences of any sort that conflict with their views.

Inconvenience is not a conservative thing.

Right on the money. Couldn't have said it better myself. Nothing more fun than watching the Archie Bunkers act out.

OK... I went into the PR&C section. I really had to hold back from saying anything. I was right. It was like a shark tank. Even if I bought together good points with evidence, research and supporting links to government and/or research articles, it would all be dismissed immediately only to be called derogatory names and discredited in the name of conservatism. I'd be wasting my time and effort.

Honestly, I hate to say it, but that section is like the KKK on the internet. I've never seen so many short-sided ignorant people spouting so much hate and racism in my life. I wouldn't ever post in there just for the sake of never being associated with such a large gathering of racists. I have nothing at all good to say about that section and I'm not even quite sure why it exists. I'd imagine it gives this forum a bad rep if people stumbled onto it.

I plan on holding out until the 2015 goes in production. Will be Vetteless until then as our '09 vert sold to the first person to look at it.
