not under the Vette colors, but all GM colors - Code "Chevy 501Q"
Thanks. I found it by searching their site. I had already planned on painting my fuel rail covers and already ordered and received some custom Stingray decals from VetteFx for them. Glad I checked in here as I was still pondering where to order the paint from. I was thinking about doing the fuel rail covers in AW to match my car. I just placed my order for a couple cans of Arctic White, a can of Carbon Flash, a can of Red as well as some adhesion promoter, clear coat and a spray nozzle for the can. Not sure what I will use the red for but it may come in handy if I decide to do my fuel rail covers red instead of AW.
I really like what you did with your console. That really looks sharp! My car didn't include the FAY carbon dash option but I had ordered it from Fitchner and received that last week. I may have to do my console when I swap the dash as I think it will need to be removed to get the dash out.
Funny thing is that was car is getting picked up from Kerbeck tomorrow to get transported to me. I don't even have it yet and I've already got a huge pile of goodies waiting to be installed. I will be checking back in your thread to get some more ideas. I really like what you've done and it is all in good taste too.
Thanks again for sharing your upgrades and I'm looking forward to seeing how those door panels turn out.
A couple more questions. How many coats of paint and how many coats of clear are you applying? Are you sanding the paint between coats and or between paint and clear? If so, what grade sand paper are you using between coats?
1. 1000 grit scuff up of surface
2. alcohol wash - do not touch surface again..nitril gloves
3. primer - light dusting - wait 30 min
4. two coats of base 10 min apart -wait 30 min
5. 4 light coats of clear 10 min apart
6. wait two weeks or so
7. 1000 then 3000 wet sand
8. med polish (menzerna fg400 or meg's ultimate compound
9. finishing polish - meg's 205 - lots and lots of hand rubbing of both

Thank you VERY VERY much!!! I will follow those instructions to the T!

practice on something first - I suggest the fuse box cover as it's $9.31 to replace if you screw it up...the key to painting is many light coats vs one or two wet coats that will run...put on more coats that I say above, if you need to....
dunno...not a pro painter...and I got time so I did not research....
Thanks! I will double check with my body shop. Time I've got but patience I lack! He always has computer problems which I fix at no charge so when I need little nick nacks done, he always takes care of me. I was thinking about having him do the painting but since I've got the rattle cans coming, I will do it myself. It's always more gratifying that way too. Not to mention that it gives me something constructive to do after work or on the weekend.
3 coats on console and lisc plate box took a can, with enuf left over to do the driver side window arm rest...the console took a lot as I did it professionally, meaning inside the drink holder and power plug too....no surface not done...but you use more clear than base - and get their clear, it matches their base perfectly and is the best clear I've ever used in can...
Glen, everything look terrific. I was really hoping that GM would make a Carbon Fiber center console piece to match the dash. I was holding off for that, but the Carbon Flash looks outstanding.
