I love the convertible. You don't have to twist the arm of any vette convertible enthusiast that this is a smokin' hot car!

I saw a night race blue pre-production 'vert at the museum with the top down...it's an incredibly beautiful car. I just can't imagine a Corvette without a convertible top!

The rear looks too long to me. You could fit another engine in there!

Never owned a convertible Corvette have you ? If you want a tiny trunk, go buy a Miata.

i have a C6 vert, its not tiny.
You should see what can be put in there... A LOT!
I've done a few costco runs, and you can put a lot in there, and if you've got luggage, easily for 2 you can pack it

How do you know its a Z51? Also, I liked the C6 vert and the way it looked, especially the Grand Sport vert, but to me the C7 vert looks way too C6ish on the rear quarter panels. Waaaay too much. I don't like that because the C7 is so much of a new and radical design that I feel it shouldn't have any resemblance to the previous car.

Those wheels are only available on a Z51. As far as it looking like a C6 vert, ...I don't see it! JMO.

Just beautiful!!!! Top down will be even better. Available trunk space all the time, top down cruising at your fingertip, top up in seconds if the weather craps out, no bulky (even if light) top to stow, heck we don't even have to stop to put the top down (I read somewhere up to 30 miles per hour flip the switch...)

What is there not to love...

While I really like the C7 vert, I have no intention of getting one. It is C7 Coupe all the way for me this time around! Frankly, as the present owner of a C6 convertible, I have no great desire to get a C7 convertible because they don't look different enough to bother and the C7 coupe is just friggen awesome looking to me!

It looks good, but it loses much of the exotic appeal of the coupe. It makes it look like a much more warmed over update to the C6 (which looked like a warmed over update of the C5). I'd still buy one though!

Is the top power operated?
Will they ever switch to a hard-top convertible?

Not in the C7 series. Maybe never.

I agree completely.

The C7 convertible is still super-cool, just not different enough from the look of the C6. I guess the convertible top takes away some of the overall styling look of the C7 coupe. Makes it less 'edgy'.

I still want a C7 vert though.

Those are Z51 wheels on the vert. The diff & tranny cooler vents have been moved to another location on the vert.

I own a 2013 Grand Sport vert. The 2014 vert is different, in a very good way. And for those who have never owned a C6 vert...I say with confidence plenty of room in the trunk area.....
