Actually, it is not tan but Kalahari. Not trying to be picky but there is a big difference in the old tan (light Oak color) to the new Kalahari, which is an orangy tan. I hope this helps!

That is exactly why I like the C7 vert better than the C7 coupe. The C7 vert looks more like my C6 vert and that is what I likey.

Looks good in Red. This should have been the car on the show tour instead of the NRB they had.

C6 Convert trunk is very usable. I hope the C7 will match up.

I go to Carlisle each year with a Pop up shade tent, 2 folding chairs, and luggage for three days for myself, and wife. Of course I have to leave the top up until I get there. Once I drop the luggage the top goes down.

I also take the pop up & chairs to the races regularly with the top down. Room left over for a water jug & a couple of jackets for two.

What can fit in the coupe if you store the targa? Never had a coupe myself, just wondering.

The spoiler looks even worse on the vert....such an insult to an otherwise nice design. There's a reason you don't see this kind of crap on an Aston or Ferrari. Without it, though, this car will be stunning.

It seems to me that the spoiler helps the appearance in that the corners of the C7 are so sharp, much like the corner of a table.

The design is a little to busy with too many lines in the trunk deck. Two of them, inboard at the edge of the trunk deck seem to serve no styling point. They look like short creases, that really don't connect.
I pretty much love the C7 vert from the rear fender well forward, and needless to say everyone knows the area of contention.

This is the exact colour and options I will put on mine (love the spoiler). As for travelling 90% of my driving is with the top down and that is how I pack. Being a biker the convertible has a ton of room compared to any motorcycle. I use the Pico arm chair that slides underneath the convertible top completely out of the way.

I've been fortunate with the Northern California weather and have had the top up only one (rain) day, since April. I'm a long time Harley rider as well, so the vert is like heaven to me! Good luck & post some pics when you get it!

Even though black on red looks great, makes you wonder what gray and tan tops would look like with the closest matching interior. Choices! Choices!

If you got one of those aux tops for a vert for use in the cool months, can the rag top be removed easily to make more trunk room?

We used to do that back in the C2 and C3 days, but all ragtops are now power; it ain't gonna be easy...
