Default Changes for 2015 Model

What are the thoughts of the forum members on changes to the 2015 model?

I suspect alot of you will be spot on in your predictions.

BG barely got the 14's going. Give them a break.
They are probably still trying to sort out the last tweeks of the 14's let alone introducing changes.

I don't expect any changes aside from some fixes for known issues, e.g. the eLSD fluid, paint and fitment problems.

Having said that, I hope to see an upgraded automatic transmission (ideally a DCT but I will settle for a new torque converter automatic transmission with improved shift times/feel) and maybe a new Gunmetal/Competition Gray wheel color option.

I think in terms of additional features, MY2016 will be the year.

if the same holds true of the C6, the second year C7 might see an additional paint color or two...

I really dont see much of anything coming inchanges for 2015. But I would really like to see the Black on all bumpers gone, I can get into the C6 seats easy, but the C7 are very tight so I would like to see something there. And yes, I could stand to lose some weight but easier said than done. The higher HP cars be introduced with the Automatic as an option. The Machine Faced Wheels bringing a $1495 price seems a little high especially when they are compared with the standard wheel...

Paint, extra cup holders, simple things. They might update the base stingray with more power or cool features after the Z07 is introduced. Either way, I will be waiting and watching

Maybe the MRC for the base model will be ready. And as mentioned above, a darker paint color for the machine faced wheels.

Suggest better looking standard wheels for the base (non Z51) car. MSRC for the base model good idea too.

I'm with you on all the black plastic trim. It really seems to show up on all the lighter colors. For this reason I'm sticking w/ black or NRB.....

Different Wheels, paint options for louvers and rear bumper, maybe, but doubt it, basic magnetic ride on base suspension like F55.

They will most likely not make changes that involve any kind of tooling changes, cup holders etc. At most they may make some color changes maybe some more interior options particularily the black interiors since they have gotten a lot of flak for very little difference between LT1 to LT3 for black. They will try and differentiate them more. They may also add body color options particularily the black facia in the back.

But that is about it.

I'm guessing mag ride for the base model, maybe a new auto tranny. Maybe small amount of exterior/interior color changes or additions like full dash top for the adrenaline red and gray colors like the Kalahari/Brownstone. Maybe different color options on the vents that some are not happy with, color wise.

Count on a new automatic for 2015. You might even see a slight HP change. You will also see an option to monochrome the whole car one color.
