No... They want more money because they can get it. $1295 is still low for shipping. GM Canada charges $1700 for this.
GM can easily increase their profit margin by increasing option prices ,especially z51....base price.. and freight and if they want to be stealthy about it , ....once discounting to invoice or x $ over invoice occurs..... increase the invoice price ....
Really doubt anything of a change for the auto trans. Looks like its working very well...

GM Canada charges $1800 (in Ontario anyhow) and it includes BOTH the freight and the air conditioning tax, so the actual shipping amount is not as high as you think.

Here's a simple and very doable one that I hope happens... new, better quality carpet. It's minor in the grand scheme of things but it's a simple fix that will really allow the greatly improved interior to shine even more.
