No... They want more money because they can get it. $1295 is still low for shipping. GM Canada charges $1700 for this.
GM can easily increase their profit margin by increasing option prices ,especially z51....base price.. and freight and if they want to be stealthy about it , ....once discounting to invoice or x $ over invoice occurs..... increase the invoice price ....

Except there will be a small price hike (Percentage wise) on the base and a bigger one on the Z51

I agree, the 2014, Z51 is a bargain. GM never thought this car with the Z51 package would take off as it did. Certainly glad I got mine.

Really doubt anything of a change for the auto trans. Looks like its working very well...
With lack of great results nevermind good for the 7speed I would think they would make changes and lighten up on the torque management... Just a little

GM Canada charges $1800 (in Ontario anyhow) and it includes BOTH the freight and the air conditioning tax, so the actual shipping amount is not as high as you think.

I just find it hard to believe the AC tax only accounts for $100 of that $1800 total though. I'm thinking it's got to be more like $400 to $500.

Nope...Been $100 for a long time.....We get screwed for shipping and doc fees compared to the yanks.
They would poop their pants if shipping went up to canadian levels.

The base roof will be painted composite, same as body panels. There may be an option for a painted CF roof, priced similar to clear roof.
Z51 option will increase or non Z51 will get MRC option available.
Vents and rear facia will have body color option.
New wheel options
Blind spot alert system option available
FAY will available only on 3LT trim

Here's a simple and very doable one that I hope happens... new, better quality carpet. It's minor in the grand scheme of things but it's a simple fix that will really allow the greatly improved interior to shine even more.
