Chrome vs. Silver Painted Wheels

I don't like Chrome wheels and never really did.
I have come to the conclusion that silver is also too much in hte bling catagory.
Yet, I detest black wheels (but don't mind if others do.)
What I want, and what I intend to do is to get my wheels repainted in a color about half way between sliver and black--a nice mid-tone grey.

If you crave attention and like bling, get chrome wheels.
If you want the wheels to complement the car, get silver wheels.
The less said about black wheels, the better.
Or, stated forthrightly: The car looks so good. Why screw it up?

if you want wheels to compliment the car get chrome. silver is plain jane.

silver says I cant afford the expensive wheels. you say that now, but wait till youre an old fart. ill bet youll have chrome

Huh? Whether you crave attention or not, you're gonna get it in a C7, regardless of which wheels you get. So get used to it.

Is it fair to say..??
Chrome wheels look flashy
Black wheels to look stealty
Natural finish, gray, or even dark grey wheels look
like alloy wheels - whick is what they are.
Just my $.02 (and admit, I owned a Corvette whith chrome wheels a lonnng time ago)
