A bad design should not require you to pay for GM's mistake. Seriously they have been making car for over 100 years they should know better.

Don't be surprised if that emblem doesn't disappear in future years. Looks like an accident waiting to happen. Good luck OP.

Are the seat emblems the same on 2LT and 3LT? Or is there a slight difference between the two.

I've seen some pictures of what looks to be embossed emblems and some recessed. The some that look like they just lay on top of the leather like the picture in this thread. Some of these pictured may be pre-production seats. When looking at them in person I didn't ever think to pay attention to this. Does anyone know?

True, but it could have easily gotten caught on a jacket. It's a bad design. A good friend of mine was on the C6 team (he no longer works at GM) and he says it's design issue.

That must either be a 2LT problem, or a build quality issue (I'd claim build quality). These are pics of the emblems on my 3LT seats.. I highly doubt anything is going to snag on these.

BTW, one dealer told me that at the dealer launch training, all the Vettes they used had these pieces missing because they broke off during training. When I called and said "seat problem", he finished my sentence with "let me guess, the emblem broke off..."

No way, as you can see from the pics, they are very recessed in the leather. I tried, but couldn't do even that, i think the OP's weren't attached properly, and so they weren't as recessed. It'd be difficult to imagine anything catching on these, since i cannot purposely get a fingernail behind them.

that sounds like a fix, or deletion is in the future, wonder if it was a run of them, or the different leather in the 2LT that causes this.

Hopefully GM will see this and maybe make a mid-year fix here in the coming couple of weeks so the rest of the 2014's don't have this issue.
