I agree with those that say the Grand Sport and Z06 and 427 cars look less dated and I agree the narrow bodied C6s will "age" faster. I traded in my 2011 GS CRM vert for my NRB '14 vert, and when I went back to the dealer and saw my old GS sitting there, I thought it still looked great. Kind of missed it (NOT the interior though). Sitting among some base C6s it looked great and if I had the space and money would have loved keeping it and the C7.

Ya, I agree with ya there. I could have financially kept the C6 but it's hard to leave 25-30k sitting outside and not getting used. I knew when I bought the C7 I'd rarely if ever drive the C6 and as beautiful as it is....it deserved to be driven and babied by someone.
A few months ago, I was debating whether to buy a nice C6 or cough up the extra $$$ for a new C7. Decided to order the new C7 and I'm glad I did. I don't even have the new car yet, but the C6 already looks dated to me.
But the bad news is, I saw (and heard!!!) a new C7 Z06 with the Z7 package the other night. What a car!!! Now I'm fearful my new Stingray will even look a little dated in comparison!!!
Nah, the Z06 iz awesome, but I prefer the looks of the Stingray myself. Sound though is a different matter. I am street driver in the C7, Z06 is too much car on the track for an old geezer. Still track the mini, JCW though and it is all I want. Might go for a Grand Sport though if they offer it, but it doesn't look promising, C8 already appears relatively close on the horizon.
I've wondered what others have mentioned. If the C6 were the newest generation and the C7 the earlier generation would the exterior of the C6 look as good or better?
I was thinking the same exact thing the other day when I saw a red C6.

Just two months ago, I felt mine and others I looked at still looked like the newest thing, but having a C7 now makes me look at the C6 as though it is old school.....anyone else noticed that shortly after getting a C7 and upgrading from a C6?

We've had umpteen new Corvettes since our very first, a new 1976 Mahagony Metallic Coupe. Each generation has outdated the previous ones in our opinion but some body styles just stand out more and more. We both love our 2015 C7 but the favorite body style for us continues to be the C3's. BTW, we think the C7 rear end design is absolutely great.
Dated, or outdated? Dated simply means you can look at something and know how old it is. Technically, a 2014 C7 is dated, if you know what to look for and tell that it is a 2014 vs a 2015.
When the C8 comes out some will say that the C7 looks dated. Then when the C9 comes out some will say the C8 looks dated. Then when the C10 comes out some will say that the C9 looks dated. Then when the C11 comes out some will say that the C10 looks dated. And on and on and on we go.
I've owned 30 vetts c2, c3, c4, c5, c6, c7 and it is the first one I felt like it was small inside, just my wife's and I opinion.
Love the outside dash is nice and to quote Tim Allen more power.
