My husband was 36 when we bought his...in the process of buying mine and I'm 36...we're definitely below the average age for buying a vette but we're also DINK's (duel income no kids)
So you guys are going to have two C7s?
My wife and I are also childfree (and will remain that way). We were 28 when we bought the C7, and we've been sharing it for the past year, but looking to get second sports car soon. Right now, we're leaning towards a Lotus Elise or Exige.
Got my first when I was 40. 7 years later, I'm on my 3rd. Due to a bad back and weighing ~300 lbs and 6'2", getting in and out of my vette is not easy but the C7 and C6 were MUCH easier than my 93.
I've finally decided to sell the 93 Anniersary since it is only driven 200-300 miles a year and just hurts too much to get in and out of.
Had my first (69) when I was 22. My second (07) when I was 57. My third (14) now at the ripe old age of 65. But I still feel like a teenager every time I drive it.
My wife and I are both in the 55+ band. Our 2015 coupe is #7 Corvette between us.
His: 1966 coupe, 2001 vert, 2007 vert, 2015 coupe
Hers: 1977 coupe, 1998 coupe, 2004 coupe
