Age is a number, its how you feel and how well you look. In practice, I start all relationships with a lie and build on that.

Just to throw a number out, if you use the mid-point for each bracket and use 63 for the 55+, the average age is 53.5.
Don't think he was referring to this poll.

I like the poll and the results it shows. It does lean toward the 55 and over crowd but shows some nice numbers below that. I started at age 21 with a '65 red coupe and now at 70 I have #10 an Arctic White coupe.

My Corvette History

1. 1969 L-46 at age 23 - sold
2. 2007 C6 at age 43 - sold
3. 2009 C6Z at age 46 - sold
4. 2001 C5Z at age 46 - wrecked at Roebling Road
5. 2015 C7 Z51 at age 51

I'm not done yet. You're only young once but you can be immature forever. It's never too late to have a second childhood. I don't know what I want to do when I grow up.

It is always interesting meeting my local Vette owners at the Pavillions car gathering every Saturday here in Phoenix but I will admit that there is a huge generation gap between myself and the "average". I've only met one other gent who actually tracks his C7 locally and that makes it tough to find friends who are into the same thing. The GT-R guys are a special brand of douche around here so no go there, Viper owners seem non existent, and the import crowd is just too young. Being 35 is an odd age, too old to hang with the kids, but too young to hang with the older folks.

That's probably true but the demographics on this car will change in the first 3'years. It is so different than the prior Vettes that it is attracting younger drivers. I'm not one of them (38) but this is the first Vette I've considered owning. Picked her up today. It is an amazing vehicle!

No surprises here. I had to wait until the "nest" was empty before I could seriously consider it. I suspect that is often the case. I watch museum deliveries on the webcams and see 55+ frequently.

I am 25 and there are no other 'kids' like me with C7's. The struggle is real

If you ever see the white C7 and black ZL1 couple parked side by side at the Pavilions, that's me!

This is the first GM product I have ever considered owning TBH.
My family had some problems with them in the past and I had always thought their quality (especially interiors) was sub-par compared to the competition.

It had been pretty much a decade or more since I even looked at GM product when my friend had bought a new Camaro SS 1LE in 2013.

He let me drive it and I was amazed and how much GM had improved the quality of their interiors. IMO his Camaro was an easy win over the 2013 Mustang GT in feel, initial quality, ride, etc... Two years later and he has had no problems.

Anyways he turned me on to GM again. When I sat in one of the new vette's the interior made my mind up. I had to have one .
