If you're on an incline, the brakes will be applied for a few seconds after you let off the pedal.
If the rpms get really low (stall situation) the electronics will save the stall depending on the situation.
If you dim the console completely, the middle section will stay lit for a few seconds before dimming. When you shift, the middle section will be visible again momentarily.
Here is some I found while sitting on I95 for six hours:
Press the temperature number and all the climate control settings display on the bottom of the screen. Tap again to make it disappear.
While using Navigation, you get a prompt to make a directional change and a distance to the change. You will also see green bars in the center screen on both sides of the digital speed number, much like the radio volume changes are displayed. As you get closer to the target, the green bars disappear one at a time until you are at your turn point. Pretty cool.
My solution is to pull in front of a person who left their turn signal on and then turn my signal on in the same direction. Then I watch my mirror for them to go, "What an idiot, his turn signal is ... oh." Then as soon as he turns his off, I turn mine off.
Not sure this works on all models, but if you have the Nav on, you can hit the accelerator hard (punch it) and a puff of smoke comes out the back of the little car on your Nav screen....
I like to think it's burning rubber as the supercharger kicks in and the tires break loose
when you have the seats folded forward, the DIRECTIONAL power doesn't work.
Question, is the PHONE icon on the console screen just for recorded voice msgs?
Not sure what you mean by directional power.
If you have a phone paired with your car, the phone screen should show you the status (connected, not connected) and let you unpair that phone or pair new ones.
Thanks folks. Lots of cool stuff I didn't know existed, and will have to try. I especially like the puff of smoke coming out the car on the nav screen.
One thing I noticed - while in reverse not only does the nav screen not work 9as previously mentioned) but the radio **** is disabled as well.
Part I bold'ed I did not know. Rest I did. Thanks! Keep this thread going!
Let me see if I can contribute...
If you keep your windows open and lock the car. If you try and reach into the car it will trigger the alarm. I found this out at a gas station the other day...
Will the alarm work with the windows down AND the roof off?
Woops! Got the answer as I read further. THANKS FOR ALL THE TIPS!
Just like the C6, if you hold down the "Traction Control Button" for more than 10 seconds, All traction systems and assist systems will shut off.
The other thing, which im not 100% sure on and Ill have to go home and check, just like the C6 again, you can hold down the "page" button on the HUD to have it read back the highest G's you pulled during that Start cycle on the Vette.
Inspect side of your drivers seat.
My seatbelt buckle was hitting plastic on side of driver's seat, making small marks in plastic. Placed 2 small pieces of felt cut from an 8.5 X 11 sheet of black felt paper with adhesive backing, and placed it right where buckle was meeting plastic. Problem solved.
The C7 Corvette has plenty of well known attributes, but there are some lurking behind the scenes. Here's a running list of tips & tricks that you might not have known. Post what you've found, and I'll add it to the list.
Not in manual
Instrument Cluster - DIC cluster application selection represented by a white marker to the left and right of the item displayed. As you scroll through the various application pages, you'll see the white markers move up and down, representing the app location within the list.
Audio - Favorite (Next/Previous) steering wheel controls obviously change stations/tracks. They also allow for advancing a track forward or backwards if held down.
Navigation - When viewing the navigation screen, your nav application tray icon ('N' arrow) can be pressed to toggle between the map views without having to go through the settings menu.
In manual (but often overlooked)
Cupholder divider is removable
USB in instrument panel storage compartment
Sun visors extend along the rod
Turn signal will chime if left on for more than 3/4 mile
"Favorites" can be used to save more than radio presets. For example, you can save Nav Destinations (like Home), contacts, tone settings, artists, songs, etc. - Zymurgy
Although I love the HUD, some people find it distracting. You can turn the HUD display off by holding down the image brightness 'down' button
With your windows rolled down and the alarm set, reaching into the car will trigger the intrusion alarm (enhanced alarm system). - Nosferatu
Presets located in the favorites bar can be renamed under the Radio/Manage Favorites settings
On the navigation screen, tap on the vehicle icon to have the current address of the vehicle overlaid on the map
TuneSelect - for SiriusXM only, allows you to select an artist, song or program that will alert you when playing. I use this every morning for HLN Headline News. I change the channel during the ridiculous ads and it alerts me when the show comes back on. Even alerts you on the HUD so you don't have to keep looking at the radio.
in my 2015 interior motion alarm will only work
Misc.
Black 'dots' on rear window are actually C7 emblems
Headlight housings have embedded C7 emblems
If you have the screen down and you shift into reverse, the screen will close so you can see what's behind you - Woodson
When the roof removed the intrusion alarm will only work if windows are up. Also next to hatch release is button to turn off motion alarm in case you leave your dog in car.

I have not been able to duplicate this on my 2014.
While listening to sirius radio the fwd and back arrows are blue to indicate you have recorded data available to go forward or back. If they have no color, they are will not function.

You can even go back and forward on regular FM stations.
