Not sure this works on all models, but if you have the Nav on, you can hit the accelerator hard (punch it) and a puff of smoke comes out the back of the little car on your Nav screen....
I like to think it's burning rubber as the supercharger kicks in and the tires break loose
I've got to try this one. Will definitely add it to the main post it I can reproduce it. Thanks!
Its one of the options under the radio menu. I'm traveling at the moment but I can post instructions later if you don't figure it out. Its an option to edit favorite buttons and it will bring up a keyboard. Just clear what is already there and you're whatever you want.

so it will rename 1 button (for example, instead of a radio station #) ?

Yep. One button at a time. So instead of, say, 102.3, you can put the station call letters, "WXYZ." Or "Oldies." (I don't remember how many letters you can use, though.)
From: Calgary, AB. There's a reason why white was the only color offered on every year Corvette. Proud Canadian German Jamaican!

when the seatback is tilted forward the power forward and back is disabled.
if you look on your centre screen you'll see a "microphone" icon that is labelled "PHONE".
When exiting the vehicle on a hot summer day and you leave your windows down and the top off, putting the car into valet mode locks the info screen so you can keep your iPod connected all the time.
Also, it gets really hot behind the screen on a nice summer day in Texas and the iPod touch slides perfectly into the AC vent above the screen to cool off
If you're on an incline, the brakes will be applied for a few seconds after you let off the pedal.
Even better: If you're on an incline or even just a slight hill waiting for a long light and don't want to have to keep your feet on the pedals simply engage the parking brake. It's a simple flick of your finger and the car will remain stationary. To take off just put it in gear and hit the gas. The emergency brake disengages automatically.
Also, when in cruise control if you shift gears quickly the cruise will remain on.
It looks like this topic has run its course. Last post was 10-30-2015. I am sorry to see that. Maybe there are no more Tips & Tricks. I know I have racked my brain for some but can't find any. I am sure there are more. I do have a question that might be a Tip or Trick. On all my other cars, I can give them commands like "Voice Navigation Off" or "Voice Navigation On" or Voice Navigation and a number". When you deviate from the navigation course you don't want the voice to keep saying stuff. Any command to make it shut up.
