I used my thigh to contour my front plate!

Also, if you trim the aero plate down to the size of the plate, it increases the air flow and eliminates the painting problem.

The aero mount looks better than any of the alternatives I have seen but I am getting a Z06 and I don't like the amount of air it blocks. At this point the Top Flight Reproductions low profile mount is at the top of my list since it only covers about half as much of the grill space.
I think I might try out the Top Flight too. I'm still using my dealer plates since I can't quite bring myself to do it.

More and more law enforcement agencies are buying scanner software to read tags so front place enforcement in states with two plates is going to get worse. Once they scan your plate they have access to a bunch of information about you and your vehicle.

I have the Top Flight Reproductions plate carrier. Think it is about the best solution. It still leaves air flow into the radiator area.

Having said that, I’d certainly welcome TX eliminating the front tag. Don

Default Plate on a Z06 Grill........

Which reminds me that I need to pick up a set of white colored screw caps for the bottom screws.

Hard to see, but there is a hole in the center of the plate for a front cam.

At least our plates are cheap and flimsy and bend real easy.

I cut the aeroplate down. I think the plate looks better floating in front of the grill without those plastic chunks to each side. Opens up 25% more grill for airflow to the radiator also.

Hidden front cam idea is cool. As far as bolts, I had some paint sitting around so I threw a few coats of satin black on em. Could paint em white in a pinch.

Screw that noise. I'm an AF retiree and would rather just take my other car on the base. Frankly, there's nothing on any installation that I need anymore unless I lose my ID Card.......

Now you need to get the painted C/F bent plate frame to complete the look. The frame is really well made.

As someone said here a few years ago "I would rather have a hot tar enema than put a plate on the front of my Corvette".
Just in case I have a removable bracket with plate on it in the trunk if I get stopped. I took it off for a car show and forgot to put it back on.

The one I have on my C6Z is from Top Flight Reproductions.

This plate debate is really getting quite OLD. If your state requires one, put it on-SIMPLE, how often do you really look at it anyway and it's good for catching bugs/rocks.
