When I went to sleep @ 3AM PST, there was no car in slot #7. I'm super happy to see it there now. I leave for the airport in 45 minutes. I am thrilled!!!!

Keep in mind that immediately after I pick up the car I am going to Discount Tire (recommended by my guide over the local Chev dealer) to get the wheels swapped out for these. I will take pictures of the car with the right wheels. Why I can't get those wheels at the factory is befuddling to me.

So pretend the car has the wheels below on it.

I've already grabbed several screen captures for you. When approximately do you think you're delivery will occur? I'm not sure if I'll be home for that, but if I am I'll grab a bunch of captures of that too.

Have a great day and congrats!

I just got home from the dealership with mine. It had a small chip in the trailing edge of the front fascia. I am driving it over the weekend and then taking it in Monday for the 500 break in oil change and the paint repair.

I'll be doing the same thing in a couple of weeks(TPW 8-3-15). PM me and let me know what they charge for the tire swap.
Make sure they torque the TPMS properly and not just sock down on them. Torque is 7N.M or 62 in. lbs. (not Foot Lbs.)

Shane has me scheduled for 10AM, but the last time I did R8C was in 2001, so I can't remember what I actually do @ 10AM. Saturday's the factory isn't open, so we won't be doing that -- but I didn't really care to after doing the Buyer's Tour.

Thanks for the offer! I'm also going to see if I can call some friends to do it right when I am in front of the camera with my kid.

The manager said $100 for all four. I will tell him about the tip you just gave regarding the torque.

What are they going to be doing about the chip? Didn't that get caught in the PDI?

I already have the dealer in Springfield, MO scheduled for my 500 mile change on Tuesday.

I guess they missed it during the PDI. It was small but noticeable. In order to do it right they are going to have to pull off the fascia and spot repair it.
