Congrats to you short time delivery folks, MINE, blt 6/21, now 45 min from me, courtesy delivery dealer won't release without the window sticker (EYT fiasco) MacMulkin says they should release. How F&^%$d up is GM? I have a paid receipt for the car, wondering if I need to call the Sheriff to seize my property?
I have the GM President's office on the case, hope someone goes home tonight a different sex than when they came in.
And they are promoting the BG manager? The buck has to stop somewhere for the EYT option fiasco and the concurrent omission of the option from the invoice data base? And he's coming to Flint to manage a major assembly plant? LOL
Been of the phone with GM since 8am, lotsa attitude adjustments, picking up today 11am. I think I could have gotten out of jail on parole with less effort over the past month.

I have a feeling when my car shows up for courtesy delivery I am going to run into a issue too based on my discussion yesterday with the dealership that I bought from. Keep in mind I already paid for 100% of my z06 and was told if I don't fill out paperwork saying I already saw my car and inspected it they will delay my ability to pick up the car after it arrives by 3-4 days. I told them I don't feel comfortable signing a document saying I have received the car and inspected it before I even see it, and was told I have to fill out the paperwork within a set amount of time or i violate a policy on the dealership end.....how is that fair lol?
A week ago I was mentally strong. Now each day that goes by without being able to OnStar GPS locate it is excruciating.
From what I've gathered this is not an unusually long time to be bayed in Toledo, that fact doesn't seem to make it any easier.
The only thing maintaining my sanity is my garage remodel. I keep telling myself this just gives me more time to get it done. Nothing quite like lying to yourself!
Was it loaded onto a rail car yet? Mine arrived in Toledo Tuesday afternoon, sitting alongside the tracks. Hoping that the large volume dealer I purchased from gets my car a faster load up.

Reason: grammar

As of last night, no. OnStar GPS has not responding since yesterday which means it hasn't been started in at least 3 days. I'm going to contact my (large volume) dealer and see if there is a rail car number now.

What's interesting is my GPS has always pulled up through the last 3+ weeks since the car was built. I guess maybe it is getting started more frequently. The car diag area of the application has remained steady and somewhat incorrect though for the last 5+ days.
I posted on the EYT thread: got it home just over a month (6/22 #12) after build. Fit and finish are pretty good, well pleased overall.
It's easy to be mad as hell and not taking it anymore until we are reminded of the delivery nightmares in the previous years. I sold my DD C5 to the first looker which put me in a bit of a strain competing with the wife for the grocery getter or driving under restricted classic car insurance. Lot to be said for buying off the lot?
For all of you waiting I feel your pain, for those of you that got cars in two weeks... maybe you have good karma and deserve it?

It's true though, use your time constructively because once the car arrives I'm betting it's going to get all your attention.
Good luck, I'm rooting for you to see that thing moving!
Sorry for those still in the EYT debacle, but it definitely seems to have been loosening up. It appears many on this thread are not constrained by EYT, but being stuck on the train!
Mine is now sitting at NCM! The PDI is completed as it was previously at the shop that was prepping it.
I would like to watch you and your son take delivery, I bet he is sky high with anticipation and excitement. However, I will be at Les Stanford at 10:00 AM picking my car up as well.
A second request for pictures during the trip. Taking a cross country drive and seeing the parks of the West once again is in the future plans for my car.

Congratulations Kevin, hope you have a phenomenal time with your son! Take lots of pics and keep us in the loop.
If anyone watching on the webcam has the opportunity, take a screen capture or three for Kevin? We had some friends who did that for us last year, and it was a very cool surprise.
I've been keeping an eye out, but haven't seen them show up at the car yet.
My my car has woken up in the rail yard after 9 days asleep. It's in a different location than it was before it went to sleep. I'm greatly optimistic that it has been loaded on a rail car. Waiting for confirmation from my dealer right now.
