Demonstrably untrue. This year, like every year, GM has and will be releasing new MY cars at various dates throughout the spring, summer and fall.
Next, you try and refute my factual experience of new Corvettes being released in spite of huge backlogs of unsold old year Vettes with this novel argument:
I'll admit - I don't know when I'll get my car. However, I can project, recognizing a degree of uncertainty based on current factual information and past practice. You, on the other hand, appear to be trolling with a totally unsupported assertion that 16MY buyers won't see their cars until mid August at the earliest.
Pure, unadulterated speculation.
Your words: "Company wide release date". Not brand-wide, or model-wide, but "Company wide".

In the immortal words of Nelson Muntz: "Stop hitting yourself". You are arguing 180 degrees against your position. You initially say that GM needs to manage old year inventory by holding back new inventory. Now you say, forget about that old inventory, let's sell new inventory as quick as we can. You're making it up as you go along.

I seem to recall when the first C7 build got to 4200 they started leaving BGAP. To Nashville, where they went to 4B00 for what seems like forever, then back to 4200 and lo and behold, to the dealers.
Drake, where are you now that we need your calm counsel?
