Mine were August deliveries & it took GM about 2 months to figure out what the problem
was & a technician about 2 hours to fix it
So you had this same problem and they repaired it? Please share info. can you pm me the dealer and your service rep. I and my dealer have been working with GM and now GM engineering/program writers to resolve this issue. Any info you can share would be great. If you could give us this info my Tech or the GM engineer could make contact to see how the issue was resolved. Thanks.

I'm not sure why you quoted me, I'm in agreement with you. I have the same issue on my early 16. The people who quote the manual telling us how it works clearly haven't read the thread. The timer just doesn't work in the early 16s. I hope the procedure to fix this is well known by the time I take mine out of storage in the Spring.

I sent Sandicar a PM, He said he will ask the Manager if he can talk to the tech to ask what he did?
I asked Sandicar to send me the dealer number in Canada and the name of the person who knows about this issue and I would have GM call the dealer. Not sure why he could not give up this info? It would save time and help alot of us.
I have also sent emails to GM and a PM to our Customer service Rep, As you can imagine NO reply from any of them? Where is the GM REP? I would think HE/She would chime in on this issue?
From what I am told the GM engineers are currently working on it. my car spent 3 days at the dealership with GM working on it, no luck. I was told they should have a fix within 2 to 3 weeks, so hopefully will have some news this week. I will post my case number later today for a reference.
Awesome, thanks! I found another piece of missing software, if you want to eliminate the lines that show up on the backup camera, that option is gone in 2016's, or at least early build 16's. I looked for it yesterday because of a thread here and its missing.
Home>Settings>Vehicle (I think) there should be one for rear camera. If any of you get a chance, take a look to see if its there. Thanks!
