Awesome, thanks! I found another piece of missing software, if you want to eliminate the lines that show up on the backup camera, that option is gone in 2016's, or at least early build 16's. I looked for it yesterday because of a thread here and its missing.
Home>Settings>Vehicle (I think) there should be one for rear camera. If any of you get a chance, take a look to see if its there. Thanks!
My October 19th built 2016 Z06 has the 0-60 adjustable timer in the DIC, but I do not have the rear camera lines options in the Settings menu on the nav screen.
0 TO 60 Timer is now shown and operational. Is all I have is a case #8-1774583817. The dealer could not offer any other information? They said it was done through GM Engineering?

Did you notice any ill side effects, or everything seems to work properly after the update?
I wonder if they pulled it out because it encourages people to rag on their cars?
Once you post a good time it's hard to show some restraint, and not try to beat it.
I know I can get it under 4 seconds, I just need to thrash that horse just a little harder next time. Maybe after it's broken in.

Do you have a picture or copy of your service paperwork you are willing to share? I'd like as much documentation to show my dealer as possible. PM me if needed..

Count me in on the same request. When I take mine in for the next oil change I want to get this resolved.
There is nothing on my paperwork, I asked my service writer for a number he had NOTHING?? He said it was all done through GM Engineering "Program Writers". The only info I have is this case #8-1774583817

1200 miles? That's plenty broke in
I just ran mine down the quarter mile at Sac Raceway all weekend and it had 1280 miles on it
For a good time, use launch control, I have achieved as good as 3.8 using it...

I'm wondering if the new Android Auto update that just came out will have this 'fix' in it, too?
No it took 2 weeks for GM engineering to figure it out it went all the way to GM Engineering the actual Program writers. I was told yesterday that the Android update was not available? Did you get the update?? I will call back today.
Is there a way to RECALL your highest G-FORCE reading? I could recall it after some spirited driving in my old C6Z.
Only on the PDR.
This was a little disappointing for me when I had my 2014 Z51 after my 2011 Grand Sport. The 2014 had no PDR option and therefore no way to recall the G meter readings.
If you have the PDR you can get the data in the Cosworth Toolbox app.
The more I read about this, the more I am convinced the lack of the timer was a programming error which was missed and later corrected.
I hope engineering puts out a TSB on this. When I take my car out of winter storage I would like to go to the dealer once for the Android Auto update and the timer update.

I'm getting the Android Auto update tomorrow along with an oil change. You have to request it because it's not going to show up by VIN as a scheduled update.

Your dealer already has the Android update? Mine said NO yesterday, I may call them back.
So now that I'm past the 500 mile break-in and oil change, I tried using the 0-60 performance timer today on my December built 2016 Z51. Although the timer is present, I was unable to set either the start or end speeds, and no reading was recorded. Does anyone else with a recent build have the 0-60 timer present, but that does not function?
Note, I do not have a lap timer function in the menu either.
