Our '16 3LT Z51 has the timer, can't explain why, simply letting folks know at least one '16 has the timer. I ran a 0-60 last week when we had no snow in Colorado.
I just bought a 2014 last month and tested the timer last night- it was awesome!! I got it to 5.0 and I'm still shaking!! What does it take to get to 3.8? It must feel like the space shuttle!!!

So far on my PDR I have hit a best of 3.4, a few on here have hit 3.0. That is with my Z06. I want the Timers on the DIC to perform as designed. Hopefully the GM program engineers can figure it out, or give me a new computer or?? There are several of us on the same boat.

I have played around with Ford clusters. Features like that are typically in the cluster firmware and dealer tools can't touch cluster firmware. The reason being if they can flash firmware then they can also potentially alter odometers. Dealers don't want to have that capability anywhere on their premises.
I had been trying to figure out where my performance timer was. I went to my buddies house as I know he had it on his 2014 Z51. It was in the performance menu, just like the manual states. However, mine skips over the performance and lap timer.
Any ideas how to get to it to show up as an option under the performance menu? Did they take it off for 2016's?
Below is his:
Mine never will show that on the scroll, it skips the highlighted two options below. Manual says it should. The term "performance timer" only shows up on p.100 also.
Isn't it amazing what one will find by reading the owners manual?
