I will take mine in when I get my oil changed to get the update.
I was told by my local dealer yahoos that they have no idea and said they need a tsb? Called my dealer I purchased from who is also a vendor, they feel like it should be a simple flash or download? Will get back to me on Monday.

Nope, they cut 20 HP from the 2016's for emissions and didn't want new owners to see there 0-60 was only 4.4 seconds

I have a 2016 3LT Z51 automatic. Built in Aug 2015 it does not have the timer in the DIC but does have it in the PDR. it does have some timers on the screen for Track Mode but I have not tried to figure them out yet.

Hopefully there is a timer update and an Android Auto update available this Spring when I take my early 16 out of storage.

Default Wow!

I have a 2014 and 2015- Coupe and Z06 respectively and the timer is there. I have a Club Member buddy that got a 16 Z and I tried to help him... the weird part was that when we tried the Perf Timer flashed on for a second and then blipped away.. since then we cant even see it anymore..

Maybe it did get programmed out???

My dealer has know about this when I ordered my car it came In at the end of August early build 2016, we tried to find the option to open up the timer it was no longer there, he checked his other 2016 models on the lot same thing, So Yesterday he sent me an email saying his new build 2016 models now have this option? So tomorrow he is going to meet with his shop Forman and service director to see what can be done. This is from Stingray Chevrolet a forum dealer who has been totally awesome and gave me a deal when no one was giving deals. Will update. If you are looking contact Sean at Stingray he is a corvette and all around car guy.

I have it in my December 2016 built 2LT Z51. See this thread, post #28 for pics.

Those with a 2016 that have it. Is it only 0-60 or can you change to 5-100mph etc? Also do you still have Lap Timer?

Based on other posts, start point and stop speed are programmable.
