My 2015 vert has never leaked while driving. It does leak some at the top of the windows in the car wash. I atttibute this to the sideways water stream that you never encounter in everyday driving.
BTW I have stopped using the car wash, too much detergent is used to compensate for no brushes. I use Adams waterless wash, done in 10 minutes if car is not real dirty.
It is hit with fast moving water on its run off the assembly line. When my car was done I think it had to be in there fr a couple minuets and stay dry. Of course after the car is out in the real world it gets everything 'readjusted" by potholes, bumps and just everyday driving and things wear in. That can effect things after time!
FWIW none of my Vettes every went though a car wash after it was my car. I do my own sort of good job and twice each season I have a very good detailer do it. I live rural and he comes with a trailer and can do a excellent job.

I go to a car wash every Saturday. I get a stationary hand wash and get my same guy to wash and dry my car every time. He cleans my brake calipers with a toothbrush. I give him a $5 tip, more if he applies cleaner and topping to my (LT3) seats, door panels, and dash or gives me a free spray wax. We shake hands and talk about recent experiences and/or family.

Be careful- spray wax (especially HOT spray way) can mess up the convertible top material.
None of the cash wash people in SoCal speak English, so can't talk about experiences with them (or even have them understand basic cleaning requests)

My wife and I had our first date in July...29 years ago. Went swimming on the St. Croix river. To celebrate we headed to a nice park on the river just before you get to Prescott, WI. Cleaned up the Vette first of course, with a quick coat of Kenotek Showroom Shine to top it off . . .
By the way, anyone in the St. Paul MN area, the drive down 95 thru Afton and ending up in Prescott is really nice!
