Avoided that Black Cloud on the way to the coast of RI. TOPLESS of course. Payed for it on the way home with Wet Road.Fresh wash it was to much crud to scratch.
This is what I posted in the C6 topic thread SilverGhost posted above......LK
Great thread and information..... I did find this video from Autogeek on applying RaggTopp cleaner/protectant so thought I would share.... they do not mask windows etc. but several points on prep and application are good to know (e.g. make certain top is TOTALLY DRY before applying protectant, using "blotting" vs. wiping)....lots of other videos on the topic will/should also appear on the right!!
RAGGTOPP™ Convertible Top Fabric Protectant Hints
* Clean as directed with RAGGTOPP™ Convertible Top Fabric & Vinyl Cleaner and allow to thoroughly dry.
* Shake well, product must always be well mixed.
* Spray lightly using gentle sweeping motions 18 to 24 inches from fabric top.
* Allow top to dry 10 to 15 minutes between coats. The sun will speed up the drying allowing you to apply additional applications.
* Once dry to the touch apply additional coat. (Two or three coats are recommended on first application.)
* Allow 24 hours for the micro-bonding process to set.
* IMMEDIATELY wipe over spray from glass automotive/truck finish with a microfiber towel.
* Reapply several times per year as needed maximum UV protection as well as stain and water repellency.
Perhaps this has already been discussed somewhere but searching got me nowhere and I figured someone could point me in the right direction. On the bottom of the trunk lid, I already have a fairly nice Stingray logo "mat" of sorts that I'm happy with. However, it is kind of loose fitting and has no frame to keep it in place as I've some others have. It's a little bowed and doesn't really fit in there very snugly. Is there a place to just get the frame itself or is that a whole thing that I'd have to remove the mat I've already got? Thanks in advance for your replies.
A bit of a cross post, but I live near the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg museum. They often set out a car on sunny days. Always a neat thing to see and a local treasure. On the way home they had Frank Lloyd Wright's L-29 Cord out. Its orange. Knew when I passed it I had to take some pics. No one came out to make sure all was right with the world. Still a small town mentality around here. Not often an opportunity like this comes around. The sun was not in my favor, but.......
Took our first trip in convertible since selling coupe, packing was a little different but Texas to San Francisco to San Diego back to Texas in 10 days.
down the PCH was a great trip 3900 miles and didn't miss a lick!
That is one rare and unique color combo. Maybe an order override? Either way, the car is amazingly fun to drive in a spirited manner (love that term!). A8 or M7? Can't tell from the photos. Enjoy!
Well I can finally join the C7 Convertible sub section, after several months of looking for the right car, I picked up this 2019 Sebring Orange Grand Sport convertible yesterday.
9200 miles, and absolutely beautiful car that was well raken car of for sure.
came with all weather tires and summer tires..
2lt black interior A8, was trying to find a M7 Sebring Orange but settled for this.
Unfortunately my driving days are coming to a very fast end here in the north country .
