I wave or flash my lights...depends on whether my window is already down.

So, is this a real thing, or am I just imagining it? I qualified my observation by saying "most of the time," because, for example, the other day a Corvette was approaching me, so I waved, but the guy driving did not wave back. Consequently, I guess not all Corvette owners participate in this ritual of ownership.
Are you a part of this "Corvette brotherhood?" Do you wave at other Vettes as you cross paths?
Thoughts?
Allways

Was driving up a mountain road and flashed my lights at a C5 and a C7. 20 miles and 45 minutes later I spot the same C7 in my housing development! Never knew it was a resident. Small world.

Same here.
That's why I consciously make an effort to get my "wave hand" as close to the front windshield as possible!

Here in Phoenix and after getting tinting (plus everybody else having tinting) it's hard to see me and them waving. Still I do it for time to time if I believe the other guy will actually see me waving.
