Question: I had my 2019 Corvette Grand Sport delivered yesterday to a courtesy dealer. Looked over everything and it looked good. Today, I detailed the car and I noticed damage to the left rear panel in front of the wheel. What advice would you have for me?

Update from the Courtesy Dealer this afternoon: “Good morning- most likely happened while being loaded onto or taken off the transporter- we missed it - next Monday would be good to have the car dropped off and we will get it into the shop to be repaired - thanks.”
That's a shame, fortunately it's in a spot where a repair won't be noticeable.
Take it back to the delivering dealer, they should resolve the issue.
Post some photos of the entire car
You accepted it as is. I cannot see that GM will deal with it now since there is no proof that you didn't do it after pickup. Fortunately, as noted, it is a non-obvious spot for a repair. All the best, in any event... and, enjoy!
If your delivering dealer is worth a damn, they should repair it. You just took delivery a day ago and it's certainly not beyond reason that you and dealer missed it upon delivery.
Doesn't look like typical owner/driver incurred damage, but more that which would be caused during jacking/tie down or shipping.
I would definitely try to work through the dealer first before getting GM involved.

You really need to check things out before you accept delivery, I would go to the dealer and show them, dont be an ahole, but be concerned, hopefully they will take care of you
Been there myself. Contact your dealer right now, if you haven't already, If he's a good dealer he'll take care of it, but know this once you accept the car it's yours and some dealers are ****** and will not take care of you. Sometimes if you bitch loud enough to the dealer or G/M customer service they will make good, but don't hold your breath.
I am not looking to get over on anyone or get anyone in trouble. However, I am looking for an honest resolution to the issue. I don't know what could cause this issue, but I do know I have a brand new car from the factory that has pretty good damage underneath.
If GM or the dealer do not help resolve it, I will obviously have to pay to fix it. I have no clue what type of cost this would be to properly fix.
I just think it is very unfortunate that my first American car is sitting in the garage with body damage.
It does look like a strap of some sort was rubbing on it.
Either that or the strap/chain was caught in between the tire and the panel, and someone forcefully just yanked it out instead of carefully fishing it though, or both. Probably both actually.

You know what ? That would make perfect sense if they strapped it down over the top of the tire. You can see where something was clearly rubbing on it; then I'm betting when they unhooked everything, part of the strap was just caught between the panel and the tire and whoever just yanked it out forcefully, and cracked the panel.

Give the dealer a chance to make it right for you.
