Finally..

I've purchased 3 cars out of state. Two were brand new, and the other I had no questions about condition. This car you mention, with the prior issues, is one I'd definitely have to see, touch and drive before committing to.
If you have driven it, and still feel great about the car and have confidence from a mechanic's check that it's something you'd be happy with - awesome.
f not, my recommendation would be - keep an open mind regarding your requirements. In 2017 when I decided to purchase a lightly used C7, I had hard requirements: Z51, Manual, NPP, MSRC, 3LT, DSOM, alcantara seat inserts. Was hoping for brownstone interior, but would look at both black and kalahari. Wanted under 5K miles, but would look at slightly higher. I searched all the sites you mention over a period of about 6 months. Found plenty of cars with one or two items off - found my exact car a few times, but at 2LT. No go. Found the car, but without MSRC. Nope.
Meanwhile, I had brought my, then DD - Camaro into a local Chevy dealership for an oil change. And there she sat - 1300 miles, everything on the list ... except...she was Arctic White and full leather interior - no alcantara. As soon as I drove the car, and saw the price, it was a no brainer.
I do not regret the concession on color at all - I think the arctic white is gorgeous - although I still drool over the DSOM. I still wish I had the alcantara, but if it was that important to me, I could swap out my seats, and I haven't.
Moral of story - figure out what you might be able to concede on. Drive a few (or a few more) locally. Keep an open mind. And then, drive it like you stole it!!!
